C has rainboots but they're just for show. When he starts walking we'll get him real shoes. He's cruising now, which means socks or bare feet--no crib shoes, they're not good for cruising or waking babies.
I am all about Robeez. DD pulls off her socks and her feet get cold when barefoot, even when inside. So when she's not wearing footie jams we do socks and robeez, she can't pull those off and they seem comfy. Only problem is the price, we rotate between two pairs and those are her only shoes. Would be no good for walking outside probably, but she's not walking yet so we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
I love shoes just for show although DS lost one of his Sperrys the other day on the monorail at Disney. He is barefoot most of the time since he prefers to eat socks rather than wear them.
No shoes just the booties when it's cold. We have some robeez from DD1 but she had freakishly tiny feet so this time around i see us starting from scratch.

So yesterday I left DS barefoot because it was so warm and he stood on his own AND pulled to a stand for the first time ever, both in one day. Here I've been all panicky about his gross motor skills when all along maybe I just needed to take off his socks.
