TTMA swelling. I didn't get up to move around enough today (busy work day). My feet are currently twice as large as my legs. I have foot rolls. Super attractive. Do I get compression socks? Drink less water? Obviously I need to get up more but for busy days like this is there anything I can do? Or have I officially outgrown my shoes as well for the remainder of this pregnancy?

It sounds backwards, but more water can help flush out excess fluids. Restricting fluids won't help any and could just dehydrate you.
Can you put a box under your desk to prop your feet up? That definitely seemed to help me. And if you're really busy and really can't get up, move your feet while sitting. Roll your ankles around, lift your legs up and down a bit. Something to keep things moving.
Can you prop your feet up while sleeping? That helped my lower body drain overnight. Awkward to sleep on my side with my feet up a bit, but helpful.
Unfortunately you may do all that and still swell considering how far along you are, but hopefully something helps.

I have a box under my desk at work but not at home. And today was a home work day. I'll remedy that for sure. I did not know that about water. That's good because I already drink lots of water. Thought maybe I was drinking too much.

I want ice cream but the baby only wants to sleep on me right now and I can't scoop one handed.
I think I'd like This Is Us but it's the kind of drama DH hates. He either wants sports, reality shows, or crime shows. He tolerates GoT and Vikings for me.

mustloveerica is the swelling new for you? Like sudden onset? Or is it something you've experienced previously in your pregnancy?
It's new in the last week or so. Not really sudden but this is the worst it's been. My skin is so tight!
Yes, it's normal to swell like that and to swell up quickly. Compression knee high socks helped me. You want to up your water and consider cutting back on salt (I say consider because keep your hands off my salt). You may (or may not) see a sizable weight increase at your next appointment. I think mine with DS was at 34-36w and I gained 6 pounds in two weeks (which I got scolded for because I was seeing a different doctor with bad bedside manners)
When you push on your feet, can you you see your finger print for a bit? That's an okay indicator for water weight swelling
My late FFSC is that my sister is obsessed with Jujube bags and is giving me one and they are so not my style. I would be way happier with a bag that H picked out. I'm cheap and it's a free bag but one I'll have to carry with me every day... I am debating getting a cheaper backpack type and only using it when I see her, and then maybe I can sell it or something.
LOL I could have probably fought him on it but I wasn't really thinking logically when we (by we I mean he) picked it out. I didn't stop to think I'd be the one taking the baby places solo 99% of the time. When he is with me he ends up carrying the baby because he'd rather do that than carry the bag lol
h wouldn't even know how to find this place I don't think. Unless he got on my phone...
Oh MH has my posts book marked on his phone. Ever since the old JBY account and my FFFC about hooking up on the monorail.

I'm a firm believer in not keeping or using unasked-for gifts if you don't like them. The gift giver is taking a risk by not seeing what you like/want. You are under no obligation to keep or use it.

Fwiw some people love the backpack style, I hate it with a passion because something is ALWAYS buried in the depths. I want easy access to my "essential" stuff without having to dump the whole thing out.
But I hear you on the not wanting to use the bag everyday if you don't love it! They pretty much are your permanent accessory for the foreseeable future 😂

That's me, though.
I am terrible at this. I don't like conflict and I like to please everyone. I am usually pretty good with my sister in establishing that we have different taste but she was so excited about giving me the bag and she was being considerate in getting a pattern that I would like rather than the crazy pink ones she likes. It's not offensive and I'm sure it's a fine bag and maybe I won't mind it.
My mom gives me the worst gifts and most of them end up being donated. I figure I'm helping her be charitable.

The Jujube bag is also a backpack but they are wider, more like a regular bag. Maybe I will end up liking it just fine - I think she is at least getting me a plain black & white pattern and not the crazy pink ones she likes.

Yeah I wanted to get a more shoulder bag style one.
Mine is pretty much a literal backpack labeled as a diaper bag. 😂

Haha, I was gonna say, you can have mine, but then I'd need you to ship it back to me when I visit my sister.

LOL If only we were neighbors
Maybe I can find someone locally to have this arrangement with. I'm sure it is a nice bag and I'd hate for it to just sit there unused and unloved. You know, because I'm sure bags have feelings too.
