Who's transitioned baby out of their bedroom already? I think a couple here had LO's who started out in their own rooms.
DH mentioned the other day about him going to his crib in the next couple weeks. I hadn't said a word about it. I don't like the room the PNP takes up next to my bed, but I like having him right next to me. He doesn't make as much noise as DS1 and 2 did. He's 12 lbs now. I was thinking seeing if DH doesn't bring it up again, keeping him in there until he hits the 15 lb weight limit in the bassinet part of the PNP. Lol. 🙄

W I think he's just figuring we'd move him since DS1 and 2 were both moved by now. I think they were around 10-12 weeks. That and for more room without the PNP.

Abigail moved to the crib in her room a week or so ago. She was getting too big for the bassinest anyway but dh just put her down in her crib one night and she slept. Her sleeping is so much better now that she's in the crib. We've also switched from swaddles to the wombie sacks. Homegirl went 8 hours last night. I don't think she would be doing that in the bassinest.

This inspires me to start talking about moving ours out. Also, mine break out of the swaddles prettt regularly so I think we need to ditch them soon.

Mine are in pack n Plays in our room. They are starting to wear out their welcome though, honestly. But they sleep from 7:30p-~4a and I'm so nervous to disrupt that. So basically, I'm a wimp and I'm no help here.

We live in a loft style condo so it's really all just one room, but we did just transition her from sleeping in our bed in a Dockatot to sleeping in her crib across the room. It sorta happened naturally since we went on vacation and she slept in PNPs there since there weren't king size beds like we have at home, so no room for the dockatot in our beds there. She had slept so well on vacation not being in our bed that we decided to keep it up at home and it worked out!

I really like the wombie. It's snug like a swaddle but doesn't involve any extra fabric to fold and unfold when she sleeps.
We've got her in the bedroom at night in the Mamaroo, but working on crib sleeping in her room for naps. We're going on a trip in a few weeks (hotel crib) so we wanted her to start crib sleeping to practice sooner rather than later. We're going to do a one-night practice trip next week.
I'd like to transition her to the bassinet at night and crib during the day, because I know she'll be in the crib at daycare. I'm not ready for her to be out of our room yet, and my husband can sleep through anything.
Mine is still in our room in her bassinet at 10 weeks, but she has been sleeping through the night for a while so it's not an issue. If she keeps doing that (fingers crossed!) we will probably keep her in our room for a couple more months or until she outgrows the bassinet.
^ I don't get why my baby sleeps fine all night in his crib but refuses to nap there.
Abigail is the same. No problem sleeping there but refuses to nap there for more than 5 minutes. Bouncy seat she'll nap in just fine, or apparently in any sort of carrier. Save

emilie sleeps through the night for a few weeks now?! Unicorn baby!
S sleeps in the same room as one of us -- either DH in the guest room or me in our bedroom. Since she's doing some chunkier sleep (and because I tend to wake up even when DH does the feeding) I'm leaning toward just keeping her with me and then asking DH to get up a bit earlier to help out with stuff in the morning before work so I can sleep if she is sleeping. I think the plan is to have her in her own room once she is regularly doing only one or two wakeups a night. Whatever "regularly" means.
legalbeagle I have my husband do mornings too. Typically he goes to bed an hour or two before I do. No matter how many times she wakes up at night, she's up for good between 6-7:30. He takes her whenever she wakes up (after I feed her) and keeps her until I feed her again at 9 a.m. Obviously this only works because he works from home, so he can drop her with me right before he heads upstairs at 9 a.m. When I go back to work, I'll just stay up and get ready once she's awake.

Yeah, I got lucky. She started sleeping 5-6 hours at about a month old and now she sleeps from about 9pm to 6am. She doesn't nap well, though, and she eats a ton during the day to make up for it, so even though I'm sleeping, I get very little done during the day
