It looks like we have a nice variety of ages. Tomorrow is Mardi Gras here. My sister and I are bringing the kids to a parade in the morning. I'm excited because it seems every year I say I'm going if it's good weather. Then it is either raining or cold. By 9 it going to be in the 70s and sunny!
With everyone having their a/s happening and finding out the sex. Even thought many already knew. We need a list. Is there anyone willing to make one for us?
I have been updating the roster as we go along haha.

27 here.
Another week of only working one day and it's NICE.
Yesterday we saw the MFM for the first time and she explained so many unanswered questions we had about DS. She was questioning whether or not he really was an IUGR baby since he's been small his whole life and it's normal to have infarctions and such on the placenta. She questioned why my old OB sent me to get induced without testing the umbilical cord or anything like that.
Let me just say I am grateful that I am no longer with my old OB. He was TERRIBLE.
@pianolove, you can take the plain Sudafed while pregnant. It helps a little. Although when I took it I had to have H drive me home because it knocked me out.
27 here. I'm home with my kid today. He has pink eye and can't go back to daycare until Thursday. Between my doctor appointments and his sicknesses I feel like I'm never at work!

I'm 32.
So I've been wanting to get a SUV before this baby is born. We currently have 2 personal cars and DH has a work car. We keep a second car since he's not allowed to use his work car for personal use. Our current car model years are 2001 and 2011. He wants to keep the 2001 car and get rid of the newer car. I think he has an emotional attachment to the older car since it belonged to his Mom and then she died of cancer. But it doesn't seem like a practical decision for our family. He's being really obstinate about it. I've had to just stop talking about cars.

If the 2001 is paid off, it seems ok to keep it, and trade in the 2011 for something newer. If they're both paid off, I would def. be trading in the 2001. Our cars are 10 & 11 years old respectively. I refuse to trade them in yet because they're both paid off, and I dnw a car payment right now. But the plan is within the next three to five years to trade them in, starting with the older of the two.

They're both paid off. Obviously we would get more for a trade in on the 2011, but I think it will cost us more in the long run to keep the 2001.

So I saw a news story about a zoo hippo that was beaten to death. I told myself don't click on it, don't click on it. Well I fucking clicked on it and now I'm sad.

I am 29, will be 30 in September.
DS finally went back to school after a whole week of being home sick. I love spending the extra time with my baby but after a week I am so grateful he could go back to school. Also he is obsessed with the school bus so all I have heard the last week is "School bus!" as he plays with his toy bus and listening to Wheels on the Bus over and over.
I am so excited to have my anatomy scan and I am ready to start buying stuff for DD. The only thing I have bought has been a pack of onesies because I haven't felt safe buying any big ticket items. Well tomorrow is the big day and I am trying to decide what to buy first. I am thinking a ring sling.

That was me last week! We had a Monday holiday, anatomy scan Wednesday and DS was sick Thursday and Friday. So I worked less than 1.5 days.

AmazingTulip what kind of SUV are you looking at?? I switched a year and a half ago from a teeny little Elantra to a 4Runner, and it was the best life choice. I love my 4Runner sososo much.

Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander. The Pilot has more room in the 3rd row compared to the Highlander. Enough that an adult could sit comfortably back there. But, if I want the 2nd row captain's chairs then I have to get the most expensive trim on the Pilot which shoots the price up a lot higher than the Highlander.

Guys I'm going through baby boy clothes to send to my sil. She's due in April. I didn't realize how badly I want another girl until now! I'm all like I have all these cute girl clothes just sitting up there and these have already been through 2 boys. I also washed all the nb diapers to give you her and I got all the feelings. I'm super excited about their little guy then all of our little ones will be right around the corner! We are also doing some SUV shopping. We are getting a new one in about April. DH is finishing up a house (he's a contractor) and will be paying off his truck. Then I can get a new car. I have decided on a Yukon XL. I currently have a Tahoe. We just need bigger. We have the second seat out of the 3rd row so we can actually fit stuff in the back. I will have ds1 who is in a high back booster and dd who is in a 5 point harness ff in the 3rd row. Then ds2 rf and the new baby in the 2 middle seats. I'm so nervous about 4 kids!

bdblz, we'll have 2 car seats for at least the next few years. DS is almost 4 1/2 but I'll keep him in a 5 point harness and booster as long as possible.

I'm not complaining toooo much but I do feel bad for missing so much time. Hope your DS is feeling better!
I'm glad DD is only in a booster. It makes finding a car much easier. We currently have a Pilot and a Fit, and I'd like to trade in the Fit for an HR-V. I love the Pilot but the thing is a freaking boat. I like driving (parking) small cars.

We had to let my new assistant go. While she was not productive or helpful, now I'm crushed with all her things and all my things to do 4 days before leaving for a conference.

Re: cars. We just upgraded my tiny two door convertible (yes, I made it work from the time DS was born until he was about a year, 8 months old) to a Jeep renegade. That is probably the biggest car I will drive.
AmazingTulip make the 2001 YH's car and you get the new one. Sentimental value is a legitimate reason to hold on to something. Eventually the cost will be enough that YH will be able to let go. That's a tough situation. If it were me I wouldn't push him (obviously it's not me and I don't know the whole situation, so feel free to ignore my advice.)
We had the opposite problem with the Highlander. We wanted the highest trim but it only came with the second row captains chairs and since we would have primarily left the last row down we would have been left with a four seater vehicle. I do love both the Highlander and Pilot. I slightly like the look of the Highlander more.
We ended up getting a Murano because we didn't need the 7 seater at the time.
I think if I had 4 kids to haul I would splurge on the Sienna or Odyssey even though they are super big and expensive but the space is amazing.

Who else didn't want to get up this morning? 🙋 I was up tossing and turning all night with DH encroaching on my side of the bed so I'm exhausted and I do not want to deal with today ðŸ˜

I'm with you. I could have slept for another few hours! I slept fine I'm just always tired... DS wakes up way too early.

This was us. I wanted the bells and whistles of the highest trim but didn't want captain's chairs in the second row because 4 seats was not enough.
We ended up getting a Tahoe and I love it. I still have to have the 3rd row down in order to haul the stroller around though which stinks, but the suburban seemed overkill for our current situation.
If I were to have 4 I'd definitely go with the Yukon XL or Suburban.
