I didn't know treating yourself to good food after an ultrasound is a thing. I'm going to have to remember this for #2.
That being said...I want to start TTC like NOW. Like literally today. Buuuuuuut that means no San Fran/Napa in the fall. I should wait, right??
If you want, I'll text you throughout the first trimester - every woe, ache and pain I have. It's been a doozy so far. Maybe that will help you decide (or scare you off ) !
I could send her cornpop311 some serious twin juju ??

OMG you guise. I always ask Molly where Mama's baby is and she always points to herself and says Molly. I just asked her and she pointed to me and said "belly". I just died of adorable and I have no idea who taught her that. Up until this point she has been oblivious about what's going on. She probably has no idea what it actually means for her, but she acknowledged that there is another baby around.

@traceyos I'm team start the antibiotics. Today you aren't pregnant. That being said, I'd test daily until AF shows up. As far as next cycle, if you ovulate on CD10, you'd be off the meds by implantation so I wouldn't worry about that too much.
I wouldn't wait with a staph infection. Hopefully they can switch you to a different med for your piece of mind, though.
My students were infuriating today, seriously wanted to punch someone in the face. I had my RE appointment this afternoon, everything looks good so it's wait for one more test then schedule the FET when we're ready.
I'm so exhausted and can't believe it's only Tuesday. Any idea if there's a full moon or something crazy going on? My kids (students and my own) are off their game big time. There has to be something going on.
ETA - never mind. Full moon was two days ago...there's a linger of its effect.

That explains my student slamming the door onto my head yesterday.
queenofcats do you have a car? I'm not far! We should schedule a play date soon! There's a couple things there that I want to do with HH once the weather's nicer. I also have a super fun trampoline park near me if you're up for a little drive! I will also clean my house so you and @tachycardia can come for a play date!
LOL @ autocorrect. V accurate. But also, yes to a play date!
Sorry to keep you all in suspense, I was gorging myself on PIZZA! Already getting heartburn, but so worth it. U/s went well so I'm happy I can breathe a little after a near meltdown of nerves, hormones, and them running almost an hour behind in the waiting room #dramaqueen
I'm going to bed. It's 7:30 and I've been exhausted all day. I've also been vomiting more and it's terrible. I can't eat anything and am having trouble keeping my blood sugar up. I had a small milkshake for dinner and I hope that stays put. I work the next two days and am hoping I'll be ok!

I do! I'll send you a PM! I'm in a suburb outside the city.

+1 for starting antibiotics now @traceyos. If you're not turning sticks, you can't harm the baby. Better to kick the infection now. wells2010, I hope the vomiting days are behind you soon!

Lol. I was trying to figure out who tachycardia was and thought I might have missed someone!
sharebear05 - those charts make me so sad for L. 33+ inches and 25 lbs. 12-18 months for weight, 2T for length. Da fuq, Gap?
Also I may have a stroke watching this address. If so, xoxo, love you all.
Initially I was noticing uncomfortable similarity re How Paul Ryan must feel watching Trump speak in almost complete sentences, and how I feel watching my toddler learn to talk. Now I'm just angry.
@officedronette, yeah, can't watch, too painful. I am listening from the other room while I do something for work, but can't put my eyes on it. Would make it too real.
@officedronette I can't watch. I read transcripts of his speeches and press conferences because the sound of his voice just instantly sends me to another level.
I wasn't going to watch, but it was on when I turned the tv on, so I got stuck.
This latest bit is making me so so so angry. (Creation of a "special" division of homeland security for "American" victims of crime by undocumented immigrants.) It's the type of thing that sounds good to people on paper, but actually makes people less safe (by discouraging undocumented immigrants to report crimes) and exaggerates a low risk for political purposes (immigrants, including undocumented immigrants, commit crimes at much lower rates than American-born citizens).
I'm really struggling. I realized Orthodox lent actually started yesterday, and my goal/focus for the Lenten period, hard to articulate, is essentially to focus on humility and humanity and respect/goodwill for other people. I find that very very hard to do where the President is concerned.

sharebear05, @officedronette - according to the second chart, DS is barely out of 9 mo for weight and is firmly in 24 month for height. Sounds about right, though inconvenient. Tall and skinny!

You think you've got problems? JR is 9-12 months for weight and 18-24 months for length. And no pants under 2T (that I've seen) come with adjustable waist bands! Poor kid's pants are always falling down.

Polarn O. Pyret has adjustable waists. But L is still swimming in their 80/1-1.5 size stuff. Swedes are long!
To be clear - I'm irritated because she's average weight and tall. There's no reason if she's the average weight why their sizes are so far off in the weight!

And I'm irritated because I shouldn't have to count on some pricey Swedes for clothes that fit my skinny, average height baby!

A was like this too- and even still he's 60th for height and 8th for weight. You might have to go with khaki kind of pants and shorts with belt loops. We did those for him and got dapper snappers.

I'm really looking forward to warmer weather when E can wear pants that are too short and I can just whatever, they're capris! She also has the tall but thin "problem"
