DS actually slept through the night until 5, so that was a win. DD slept ok. She was up 2 times I think, but normally after eating she falls right back asleep. Not last night. She is super congested sounding. I hope she isn't getting whatever DS has. I have work until noon, then I am leaving for DS' neurology consult. Hopefully we can figured out what is causing the pressure on his eyes.
DD didn't fully catch up in terms of oz but she didn't seem to care. She woke up at 7. DS was up eleventy thousand times last night, but he would go back to sleep after 5-10 minutes with minimal tears. So win? He's a daycare today.
My mom is coming over later and we're going out to buy some things for their basement renovation including the huge playroom they're building for the kids.
I've been up since 4:30, when DS2 woke up to eat. H actually fed him, but I wasn't able to go back to sleep. I should probably get used to this, if I want to keep working out a bit in the mornings 4:30 is probably going to be my wake-up time.
I started the Celexa last night. I woke with, and still have, a headache. I'm not sure if it's from the med or because I didn't drink as much water as normal yesterday. I also feel sleeping pill hungover-like how you feel after taking a Tylenol PM to sleep-which I'm sure is from the med. I'll deal, though, to feel better.
H should be out of work decently early today, which is nice because he's been on call (or sleeping recovering from call) 4 out of the last 5 days. DS1 misses him and so do I.
It's rainy and dreary here. I saw on my Weather Channel app that they're predicting above average temps for most of March. This makes me optimistic for spring.
I need to call about rooms/reservations for our getaway trip next weekend. We're thinking of staying in a B&B one night and then the casino hotel the next. We have no big plans other than enjoying sleeping in and eating good food.
britta Your getaway weekend sounds like a lot of fun. Its kid free for you guys right? Sorry about the meds making you feel yucky this morning. I hope that is just a temporary things as your body adjusts. adouces06 Good luck with the consult. I hope you can get some answers. hikingmama222 Ugh about 4 being drama filled. Big P turns 4 in July. @snuff9861 Its nice your parents are making a special place for the kids.

Good morning!
Last night was a normal sleep night for us. N was in bed at 8:30 and up at 5. G went down around 9:30 and woke up at 6:30. MH is working, so he was able to get N situated with some milk and Cheerios before he left, which allowed me to stay in bed a little longer. I managed to get us out the door with little fight from N and to day care and work on time. Moe's tonight for Kids Eat Free Tuesday, then just heading home. Both boys are congested, but are acting normal.
I'm having so much anxiety over money right now. We got our income tax refund and I want to pay off the furniture I bought and a credit card. Mr. P wants to buy a camper and pay payments. I don't want to pay off the furniture and credit card just to replace it with another payment. Especially when we still have more to pay off. I hate feeling sick over stuff like this. I am hoping maybe we can find a decent camper we won't have to make payments on. But who knows.

adouces06, good luck with your DS's appointment today. I hope you get some answers. @snuff9861, I would take that as a win. Have fun shopping! hikingmama222, I feel like 4 is an emotional age because they can articulate their feelings more. Hugs for the rough sleep. britta, hopefully the headache is just a temporary side effect until you get adjusted to the medication. I am jealous of your getaway plans; that sounds like a lot of fun.

penguin129, I'm with you on the refund plans. We used part of our refund to pay off the couch and a few small credit cards, so that is 3 less payments we have now. We may be in the market for a new dining room set, though, which will add one payment back in. I hope you're able to come to an agreement that won't cause you any more anxiety.

It's actually hilarious since I remember my parents saying they didn't want toys or anything left at the house when I was pregnant with DS... Now they've gutted their entire basement and half of it is going to be a playroom for the kids. LOL. My dad's all excited about setting up a futon and having sleepovers and watching Disney movies. My parents are hypocrites in the best kind of way.
Well last night I argued with H that I needed sleep at 9:30 even though he kept bothering me. Then he says baby only gets up once. Not true. So finally I go to Sleep and DS1 wakes at 10:30 from a dream. Then go to sleep and DS2 wakes at 1 to eat and again at 5:45 to eat and I barely get back to sleep at 7 and the oldest climbs into my bed to say good morning and play. So what were you saying H?
The camper purchase is in anticipation of our summer road trip this summer from FL to PA. I really want to go visit my family and this will be way cheaper in the long run than buying plane tickets. Plus we can go at our own pace. I am so nervous for the 24 + hour drive, but very excited at the same time.
penguin129 yes, it will be kid free. Instead of a Christmas gift, my parents offered a long weekend of free babysitting because they know we don't get time away from the kids often. I'm looking forward to it. And FTR, I'm team be responsible with the tax refund. It sucks and isn't much immediate fun, but not having debt is more fun long term.
Good luck today adouces06! Did DS's fever go away?
penguin129, maybe ask on those bst Facebook groups if anyone is selling a camper? I've seen them quite a bit in my groups. britta, your weekend away sounds great! Will you be in the SW Michigan area? If so, go to greenbush brewery!
We live in SW Michigan. 😁 We're going north towards Traverse City and going to make a visit to Short's-MH's fave brewery.

Nothing exciting in my world. The baby is generally back to STTN but she is waking up earlier now. DS2 has actually been STTN as well and that's extremely rare for him, but I will absolutely take it.
I slept like crap last night though - not really sure why.
We finished up Parenthood last night and I bawled. I had huge puffy eyes this morning from it. I mean I cried so hard, as if I lost one of my own family members. Damn that show. It was SO GOOD and I'm so sad it's over.
britta I think so! MH got upwith him this morning, and he "doesn't know how to use the temporal thermometer" 🙄 so when I checked him 2 hours after getting Tylenol, he was back to normal temps. He is acting much more like himself today, so hopefully it was a weird 12 hour fluke thing.

ksyknelvr73, I loved Parenthood! I also cried my eyes out at the finale. That show was so, so good.
adouces06, I'm glad the little guy is feeling better! MH says the same thing about the temporal thermometer. I'm like, I have no medical training and I can use it. I don't get it.
penguin129 another vote for paying things off. Hopefully you find a cheaper camper so you can do some of both. hikingmama222 my 3 year old is like that lately too. I think she was scream-crying from when she got up till we walked out the door this morning.
Just pumping at work. O was up maybe 7 times instead of 10 last night, and sadly that makes me feel slightly more human. She would NOT sleep in the Merlin though. After two hours of trying we gave up and went back to the sleep sack with arms in.
@holachica - My local grocery store sells paczki at this time every year and people love them. They look just like jelly donuts, which I don't care for, but are they different somehow?
ksyknelvr73 - Parenthood is my all-time favorite show, and I'm still sad it's over! People rave so much about This is Us, which is very good, but it doesn't compare to Parenthood at all, in my opinion. I was so emotionally attached to the Braverman family that I felt like part of their family. I cried when they cried and laughed when they laughed. I miss them.
DS had another good night's sleep, despite having a very boogery nose. Why do babies hate it so much when you wipe their nose or try to suck the snot out of it?

jwinct - I seriously cried probably at least once every episode. All the emotions! LOL Everything was just so relatable. And we have personally gone through a few of the things in the show as well. DH had a hard time watching when the open heart surgery stuff started, b/c his dad had that exact surgery almost a year ago. It was a really scary experience and he really felt like he relived those emotions and concerns through the show. He got just as hooked on it as I did!

I am hardcore dreading the remainder of this week. Today is low-key at work, but DH has a game tonight so solo parenting for me. Starting tomorrow is our month-end close at work so I'll be super busy/stressed and working long hours through Friday. I had to ask my parents to help out for Thursday b/c I don't get out of here til 8pm and DH has a game and I could tell they were kind of annoyed by it.
Ugh ksyknelvr73 . Sorry about the dreadful week coming up.
Is anyone giving up something for Lent? Do people here do that?
I have done it for many years but I don't know that I am this year. Many times I've done things like soda or chocolate, etc. And that might sound dumb but I was truly addicted to whatever it was at the time, so it was an honest sacrifice. I'm just not sure what I'd even do this time around.
ksyknelvr73 - I agree; the situations were so relatable and the writing and acting was so good. I definitely cried at least once every episode. I'm sorry you're going to have a crappy rest of the week. That does sound awful! I hope it goes by quickly.
adouces06 - Good luck at the consult - I hope you can get some answers. I had to teach DS how to use the temporal thermometer, but now he's good at it. He'd rather do that than a rectal temp, so it wasn't hard to convince him how to learn to use it.

DS1 woke up puking in the middle of the night. He seemed totally fine this morning when I left for work. He's home with DH. DH said he ate breakfast and hasn't gotten sick yet. I really hope he isn't down and out for 4 days like the DD was last week. Maybe it was just something he ate or just a mild stomach upset.
And I was finally letting my guard down and breathing a sigh of relief that no one else caught DD's stomach bug. Now I'm going to be on high alert again for a week.
Baby slept 12 straight hours. Husband tossed and turned with a back injury 😩😩 I wanted to go sleep in guest room but bed was too warm and snuggly. First world probs. Today's agenda is to try to recreate yesterday so she sleeps good again lol.
