Is that the slap cheek one? I guess this was on her trunk, which is what the gal at public health told me can happen. But DD has also come home from daycare rashy and it's been gone the next day, so who knows. I'll get an update this evening when I call. My mom would have text me today too if something had developed.
Yes, slapped cheek. I'm pretty sure it's usually just on the face.
We just had a contractor out to see what it would cost to finish the basement bathroom. He said it will for sure be over our (super low unreasonable- my words) budget but he will put an estimate together so we can see what we want to do. I should get that from him in a couple weeks. I can already tell that this is going to be a battle between my H and I, because I just want to get it done, and he wants to not go over our budget. We shall see..

Is it a half bath? Shower stall? Full bath with tub?
The previous owners (poorly) installed a toilet and sink and put in the plumbing for a shower. They (poorly) put down tile on half the floor, put up some bad framing on one wall. It's absolute shit, lol. The contractor said we will have to basically undo all the shit they did and start from scratch. So it'll be a 3/4 bath when all done (shower, no tub), plus a bunch of storage room.

Congrats morwen on the good a/s! Can't believe you're halfway already.
Dh had a lovely 4 day weekend here and was all about taking ds out on stroller walks 3x a day. While ds loves it, I'm afraid he is going to come to expect it from now on. I definitely can't keep up that pace and will be totally screwed on a rainy day.
Dh is out of town again thurs pm but only until Monday am this time.

Good luck!! We're in the process of doing our basement too. We have a $6k budget but DH is doing all the work so it's all material costs and when we built the house all the plumbing is there we just need to do the connecting pipes. Hopefully our marriage can survive it haha.

I guess I don't know your budget but you should be able to get off somewhat cheap depending on what materials you choose. Are you guys going to buy stuff yourself from Menards, Lowes, or something alike? You could watch for sales or even check to see if there's a good deal on anything leftover on clearance that they may only have a small amount of.

It can be on the trunk too. A retrospective look at a really weird rash DS had (face and trunk) was most likely fifths. It's a tricky one to properly diagnose until it starts fading and has a kind of lacy pattern.

Just talked with the kids and my mom. The rash was going away (must not have really been there this morning) but is there again this evening. (She was at daycare all day so this is going off what my mom is seeing.) It's on her forehead as well. She is acting normal and no symptoms of anything else.
On Saturday and Sunday she was at about 100 temp and the rash appeared yesterday.

R had fifths last fall. The rash is usually on the face but can be on other parts of the body too. She had a little rash on her chest. And basically her only other symptom was diarrhea.
