footloose, I'm really sorry you're going through that. As she gets older hopefully she stops asking and is used to him not being around. Maybe she's just asking because it's recent? Either way I'm so sorry. It's a terrible spot to be in.
Today I got to the store and found that the stroller wasn't in the trunk. Of course my first reaction is to call DH and ask him what he did with the stroller. Upon thinking about it, I realized I must've left it at the park the other day when I took the girls. This is our stupidly expensive stroller so cue the crying and me freaking out. I desperately posted on my local moms group to see if anyone happen to see it...and I found it!!! I am ecstatic. There are good people in the world!
I cut my hair and dyed it this morning. I was looking and feeling good so I took J out for a nice stroll in this gorgeous weather. Once we got back home, I decided it was time for bubbles. I was wrong apparently. Cue a giant tantrum. Thanks for ruin my good vibe, kid.
I'm back ladies!!! (if you care or missed me lol) I'm skipping all of the pages and jumping in at the end. Did I miss anything exciting?
I got surprised with a Mother's ring for our anniversary on our trip. And I was involved in one of the couple's proposing. It was actually more fun than I thought it would be. But I missed the kids. Sleep was glorious though!
I tried asking DD more about her birthday today. She said she'd like pink plates, her cake to have a candle on it and a picture of our family, and for a gift some new fruit snacks. Ok!
It's a cartoon on Disney channel. DD and DH watch it together. I don't really get the point of it. "In the night, they save the day" is the tagline. DD walks around saying that. They're in the PJs and have masks on
If I had a way of getting formula into this baby, I'd stop bfing him today.
DS2 refused the bottle. I tried all kinds. He finally would take the formula sample nipple in small amounts and then got larger. At first you also had to distract him by facing him out and looking at something and walking (fast). Other people had to do the work- he wouldn't take it from me. But now that he's been taking it a few weeks, he'll do whatever with it now. I imagine you don't have someone else to try it though.

Nope, he's with me all the time. And at almost 7.5 months probably not much point in pushing the bottle. I may get some and just keep offering it in a cup. He really just doesn't care to nurse during the day and it's frustrating because he needs to.
One of DH's bosses just gave us a bunch of stuff for the girls. A power wheel, a trike, a big wheel, a wagon, an easel....
They also have a kitchen set they're willing to give us. But we bought one already and are keeping it for DD1's bday/ DH says his boss is just going to give it to goodwill if we don't take it. Part of me really wants to take it to sell.

Have you tried side lying in the bed with him to nurse? He was having strikes too but if I laid down with him, he would calm down and nurse.

Yeah, he just gets all excited to be in a different location and wants to look around and talk to the ceiling fan. I can nurse him in his room only, and even there he's often more interested in looking around or talking to me and cheesing.
My old personal trainer, who used to be a spokesperson for Snap and then went on to own her own gym (point is that she's friends with EVERYONE on Facebook) just posted a picture of her kids softball sign up sheet on Facebook to say she's excited for her kid. It literally lists her full name, address, birthdate, name and phone numbers to parents and her school information.... like how much of a dumbass can you be. The kid is 6 and now her info is on the internet forever and whoever likes it then opens it up to see to their friends. I can't.
