Hi ladies Laying down for a nap (work tonight). Both kids sleeping. Send good vibes for long sleeps for all.... How's everyone doing on this rainy day?
My 3 year old has stolen every last ounce of my patience so I'm super crabby. Both girls are napping and I'm trying to collect myself so I can last the rest of the day.
It's snowing here, all day. I think my kid is in a growth spurt. He's eating the whole house and is a touch crabby. I'm counting down the minutes until his afternoon nap. I haven't showered in two days and I feel gross. He's also been chatting nonstop since he woke up this morning and my brain is fried.
DS slept for almost 2 hours, he seems happy, so I'll take it! I could do without the throwing himself on the kitchen floor because i took away the granola bar he wasn't eating.

Sorry for the germs sticking around, piperhalliwell . trtlcrzy , I hope your 3 year old was easier after the nap!
It's sleeting here, which is gross. I didn't sleep well because we were under a tornado watch last night and midwest weather brings out my east coast anxiety I got a bit overzealous with the bag of Starburst jelly beans, and now I'm fully regretting eating too many.
B now goes and points to the changing table after he poops. He understands when things are upside down and will fix it. He figured out how the vacuum plugs into the wall (and tries to do it himself- ahh!). He has started saying "dada" and looking at the door when he hears the garage door open. And I'm sure you've seen that he walks everywhere now too. Who is this child? It's like he advanced to a whole new level overnight. Insanity.
I had to change S's diaper this morning while we were at the library. They have one of the koala care changing things that folds down from the wall. Both of my girls are terrified of that thing. I hate having to use them.

So funny because Lu LOVES them. We have only had to use them at the library or out to eat but she's super entertained. I joked about getting one installed in her room

Mine act like I'm dropping them down into the abyss.

I felt the same way a couple weeks ago. Like now I talk to her and she understands EVERYTHING. And she is still so tiny that it cracks me up. Like I have a tiny little buddy following me around who I can actually talk to. They're getting way too grown up way too fast.

It's the same here. I've started avoiding public bathroom changes at all costs. It's awful. Worse if someone else is in there and flushes or turns on the hand dryer. Dear lord you would think I was feeding him to lions.

Yep. And he's been talking non stop. Like we have full adult conversations now, except that I have no idea what he is saying, lol.

R leveled up yesterday. She was holding a wash cloth in her bath last night and I asked her to wash her feet and she did! Then after bath she brushed her hair by herself without prompting. She also says both no and yeah and uses them correctly when we ask her questions.
