britta I am clueless about tips as well. Probably more than I tip. But I do give our hairdresser gift cards throughout the year, as well as a Christmas bonus. It's my way of making sure all of her tips aren't taxed.

I also do 20%, unless the service is not great. When I was going to my hairdresser near my mom's, I would often tip closer to 25% because she always fit me in when I wanted to. When I get a mani/pedi, I tip 20% of the pre-tax price, since sales tax is added on here.
We have a shopping cart cover that we used for N. I think it is a Summer Infant brand. We used it all the time, both on shopping carts and highchairs. Once G is able to sit for longer, we'll use it again.

Tipping wise, I just do a 20% unless the service was sub-par. For my hairdresser, though, and when I manage to book with the massage therapist I really love, I typically do between 25%-30%, the latter around the holidays. I only go get my hair done 2-3x/yr. Good service begets good tips, but it also works the other way around with time if you are going to the same person over and over.
My co-worker's cat has been sick lately and she went home to check on her and called here hysterically crying, saying she was bringing her to the vet. We have no idea if she's coming back to work today, but I'm guessing not. This can't be good. I feel so bad - she loves her cats SO MUCH and will be devastated if her kitty dies.
It makes me feel kind of bad that just this morning, as I was cleaning my cats' litter box, I said out loud to my cats, "I can't wait until you damn cats aren't around anymore. No offense." While I do love my cats, I look forward to not having cats in my house anymore, ever again.
I have pumped 7 ounces twice today at each session. I have no idea what's happening. I did eat eggs this morning... some days I barely pump 3 in one sitting.
macaronmama I got one from target that's by Eddie Bauer. It was pretty cool, but I barely used it. Like others said, they are sort of a pain. I did get a MilkSnob cover for DD's bucket seat, and you can use that as a cart cover, so I might try that this time around. britta I give my hair dresser $30. Usually I spend $175-$200 when I get my hair done (wash, cut, baylage, dry).
In response to the UOs: I loveeeee emojis, and use them super frequently. And yes, water plus sand is wet sand, def not mud.
So, DS' temp reached 104.9😱 last night, and took an hour after giving Motrin to come down to 102. I have an appt at 2:50 today to have his ears checked. Hopefully he is feeling better soon. Both kids are sleeping right now, and I am just sitting in the silence. Silence is nice sometimes, especially when the rest of the time you're dealing with a whiney sick toddler.
We still have our trip to Tampa coming up next weekend and I am SO READY for the beach and warm weather.
😩😩😩 <---- emojis 😉
I'm so mad we're not going to Tampa anymore. Dammit DH and your procrastination!
I know! I wish it had worked out. Sad. I keep obsessively checking the weather even though it's like 9 days out and the high is supposed to be mid 80s and sunny. OMG I am so excited.

adouces06 I wonder if he has flu? When DS1 had flu his temp reached 106. I was just getting back from Mexico (cue GUILT) and my sister was watching him one more day because I was supposed to work that night. She called me and told me that and I said "Rectally?" She said yes. 10 minutes later I called back and was like, "Did you add a degree?" Kids can get such crazy high fevers. Anyway. Let us know. The poor little.
DH got out of work waaaaay early. We decided to have a date day since we've talked about making more of a conscious effort to spend (quality) time together. We're sitting at the bar in a restaurant. He's on a quick conference call and I'm enjoying a beer and deep fried cheese.
adouces06 - I also wonder if he has the flu. DD1 had the flu a couple weeks ago and she was just miserable and had a temp that didn't come down very much with Motrin. I hope he feels better soon!
We had a tree fall across our street into my yard and knock the power lines down this afternoon. I hate not having the monitor when my kids are sleeping. I tip 20%. adouces06 high fevers this time of year make me think flu too. Best of luck. @kitchen love the red shoes!! I enjoy emojis every now and then. Not like a regular thing. And only when they truly convey what I'm thinking. Although every now and then I'll send a completely random one to someone. Like a screwdriver or a desk.
@kitchen can you link the pantsuit? I would feel more comfortable in something like that than a dress right now and I have all these weddings to go to.
