Good morning! I think we are going to playgroup at 10. Hopefully that will get some of H's energy out. She's been crabby and whiny this morning and I really don't want to deal with it. I exercised yesterday and now I'm sore.

Morning! Comcast is here because now we have even more problems. So annoying. Xavier is pooping and making a large production out of it, which is awkward and hilarious.
I was planning to go to the spring consignment sale when it opened, but now I have to give friends a ride to the airport, so we'lol have to go after nap.

Apparently we haven't been to the grocery store lately - slim pickings in my kitchen right now. So for breakfast I am having a quesadilla with cheddar and blue cheese. This is the best decision I have made all day.

R has a doctor's appointment this afternoon. She has eaten more fruit this week than she has in her life, but she's still backed up. Apparently she likes watermelon and blackberries. Both fruits I am not crazy about so I don't usually buy them.
I've been obsessively tracking a dress I ordered last week. The latest update says it departed a USPS facility a few hours from here at 4am yesterday. Which probably means it's lost somewhere since there was never an arrival scan at my local post office.

This happened to me recently and I called the company (I think it was a shipment from carters) and they refunded my shipping fees. My package showed up at my house the next day anyways.

That's USPS for ya. Their tracking is the worst. That always happens to me. It'll show up today or tomorrow I bet.
We're all packed up and ready to head out. We leave the resort in about 30 minutes (it's 10am here) yet we don't get home until midnight tonight. Lots of waiting around in airports today. 👎🏻 The flights themselves aren't even that long.

We're going to pick up stuff to start our basement project today.
The kids were gonna go with but mil only had one kid and daycare so she asked if the boys could come play. DD basically threw a tantrum because she wanted to go with so now she's there too so DH and I will go alone now.
We booked a townhouse for my entire family to go to Disney next January... I was looking at tickets for different things and yeah, this girl has got to start working some OT.

Boo, I hate that. I hope it shows up! Do you need it for a certain day doing up? I'd contact the company. I have more success with them than USPS. I've watched several packages go back and forth multiple times before it makes its way to my door.
Morning all Happy Friday! We went to the Y again this morning. I had another wellness appt (2 of 3 they give you when you sign up). C decided to freak out about going to childwatch and was SO frustrating and ridiculous. He loves it there. I almost lost my patience. But they both went in and they said Lu cried for less than a minute When I picked them up they were both having a blast. Tomorrow is Lu's first swim class and I'm so excited
Of course, 10 minutes after I posted that, the tracking updated to say it arrived at the PO. Apparently I just needed to complain about it for something to change. It's an LLR dress so I was getting worried about not being able to do anything about it if it were lost.
I'm trying to do a deep clean of my house. Mostly the living room today, so that's fun.
I think DD is getting a cold. She's upstairs in her room coughing every few minutes. Boo daycare germs. But we've fared well since December I guess. Aside from me having laryngitis last month, nobody has really been sick since before Christmas.
When they are using it as their primary method of transportation, maybe?
I would say when they use it on their own to go from place to place. But may not be primary method of transportation for a while after that. C walked from spot to spot in the room for a while but would still crawl to go long distances. L never crawled again after she took 5 consecutive steps. I think this varies kid to kid.
So, this morning my H dropped off my car to get the oil changed and then asked what we had planned for the day. "Oh we have a play date at 11.... oh.... wait...." Yep, I did not put two and two together that I'd have no transportation for the play date if we scheduled my oil change for today. Dumb. Luckily one of the girls offered to bring us. So I had to walk to the car shop with Bobby on my back to get the car seat out of the car, and hauled it back home on top of the stroller. I'm sure that was a sight to see, lol. But it all worked out in the end and the play date was a lot of fun. I've definitely found my little mommy tribe here, which feels good. I think we are giving ourselves a break from hosting next week and doing the zoo or children's museum instead.
Tomorrow we are having a surprise party for my mom's 50th birthday. Should be fun.
I have a headache today though and I can feel it leading into a migraine, so hopefully I can keep that under control this weekend. Yuck.
I have zero energy/patience tonight. I just want to relax. And that involves L going to bed. I feel a little guilty wanting that because she's being adorable and happy and playing by herself though. I'll let her stay up a while longer and then it's ice cream on the couch time.
Today has been the Mondayest Friday ever. DD ended up skipping her nap. But then was a complete terror the rest of the day.
After the kids went to bed, I decided to hit up McD's for a creme egg mcflurry. Except they were all out. So I ordered an oreo one. Then ended up having to wait over 20 minutes to get from the drive thru speaker to the first window. It was insane. I need to go to bed early tonight lol
