shehulk723 are they thinking about surgery to correct the chiari malformation? My aunt had that and the surgery took alway her pain. It was a rather quick recovery all things considering. I'm sorry you are struggling with everything and that DH has his own set of issues. Is there anyone that could come help?
I am a candidate for the surgery but the neurosurgeon wants to wait until it's the last resort. Ideally I really need to wait until I'm done bfing I think.
Oh wow, that in itself is stressful! I'm really glad you are still able to get the Zoloft. Can you apply for Medicaid?
My state didn't expand medicaid so we're in that lovely coverage gap where I can't get medicaid or help through the affordable care act. now that H hasn't been working though I'm going to try pushing through a new application. Maybe I can get approved even if it's only a few months until he's back to work. I totally forgot I meant to do that yesterday. I've been forgetting everything lately! I forgot my friends going away party, a picnic I was invited to and reminded about the night before. My brain is broken
You should be able to list your current income with his as "0" and once you qualify you get to keep it for a year, even if your income increases past the cutoff during that year.

Oh my, how stressful. I'm so, so sorry. Does your H have coverage for all of the medical care he requires?
So cute! I didn't realize that my little girl's hair would basically grow straight into her face so we have a lot of different methods of holding it back!

I tried the 2-3-4 nap schedule for the first nap and it worked. I made sure to put him down a few minutes before 2 hours and went in at 5 minutes to rock him. But him down awake and reset the 5 minutes and he was asleep. Could be a fluke! But very excited! He'll be going to daycare when he gets up so can't follow the 3 hour rule exactly, but he seemed to do that on his own anyway.
Gaiz how do I handle the suspense of having to wait 2.5 more weeks to see another medical professional?! (Barring something crazy happening, of course.)
Let's start with a question! What is your next appointment? First OB visit? What are you excited about with that visit? What are you worried about with that visit? What is this suspense due to?
I'm so sorry, shehulk723. All the ::hugs:: I can't offer any solid advice on your situation, but I'm always here if you need to vent and have someone listen.
This child has now given me countless colds, stomach virus, laryngitis, pink eye, sinus infection and now a yeast infection (due to the meds for sinus infection and pink eye). She's painfully adorable and I'd get sick for her any day, but whew.
I've never done this before. I pondered my Monistat choices for so long in CVS this morning at 8am. Then died a bit inside when the direction said "insert at night." WAAH.

First OB appointment! I'm just excited to see/talk to someone about our care and expectations for the next 7ish months. I'm not worried about anything in particular; I just don't know what to expect, so the suspense comes from the unknown!
What I think I'm most excited about is figuring out our schedule re: prenatal ultrasounds/appointments for the kids over the next few months. I don't know what a normal, singleton prenatal schedule is, so I don't have anything to base my projections for twins on.

Gotcha!
The first OB appointment is usually quite uneventful. However, I got an ultrasound so that was fun!! Pee in a cup, sometimes a Pap. I then scheduled all my OB appointments and was encouraged to schedule my anatomy scan. I went at 9 weeks and they were like "Well, it's only ten weeks away!" Haha.
Waiting kinda sucks, I know. But, pregnancy is all waiting. Hurry up and wait. Enjoy the calm :-)

shehulk723, I'm so sorry, that all sounds like a terrible pain- figuratively & literally. Your girls are gorgeous
Rama, at least with your history you'll probably be seen quite often! I never had IF so my appointments were super far apart, ultrasound every 4 months. Obviously I was very lucky and blessed to have a healthy pregnancy but it was so torturous to see my higher risk friends get ultrasounds every 3 weeks! lol

I've never done any OTC treatment. My dr has just called in fluconazole - 1 (oral) pill. Good luck - that sounds...not fun! But maybe better than a yeast infection.

The wait is so hard. Ds2 is our rainbow and I wanted to go in like every day until we were past my loss date to make sure he was fine in there. But, the midwife wasn't concerned and didn't want to do any extra ultrasounds if we didn't need to. I don't have advice - I just know the wait is so so hard! But, if the drs aren't concerned, that's a positive.

It definitely is. And it's not even like anyone's making me wait a long time or anything, either. I just has my first u/s last week at 6+0 and I'm 7+2 now. I'm just an impatient person (about this), hahah.
Looks like hubby has to go to the er today. They think he might have an obstruction and/or infection. He was in bed and didn't eat anything for like 36 hours, then when I put some food in him, he couldn't keep it down. He's got a nasty fever and is in so much pain. Looking at him breaks my heart. He's just wasted away. He's practically skin and bones. I miss my husband

I just feel like my gyn is going to say "Schedule an appointment!" and I'm a little "eh, no." I'm going Tuesday anyway for my annual. But maybe I'll email and ask. Thanks!

joy, I've never had a yeast infection so I have no idea how uncomfortable it is, sorry you have one. Next time you have antibiotics, take it with a strong probiotic to prevent it!

Apparently he was just severely dehydrated and having withdrawals from one of the meds he was on. They pumped him full of fluids and gave him Zofran so he can keep his meds and liquids down.
I'm so tired. We didn't get home until after 2am and now my two year old is sick
1. shehulk723 I'm so sorry to everything you are going through!
2. Rama a fun thing about twins is that you get extra ultrasounds! I feel like I went to the doctor constantly. It has both upsides and downsides.
3. G was just crying in her crib. I went to check on her and she was standing up completely in her crib. So not ready for this.
4. My babies are 7 months old today! How/when did that happen?!
Do you happen to remember when your next one was after the confirmation ultrasound? I have to shamefully admit I'm chomping at the bit to see them again.
G is not allowed to be old enough to stand. I forbid it. She's a baby, dangit! It's clearly only been 3 months, obvs. She must have missed the memo.
Has anyone else had problems logging in? I've been locked out for weeks and I just randomly tried again and I'm in. I've been creeping in your bushes of course. I have so much news I've been wanting to share.
First, however, YAAAYYYYY Rama!!! Congrats on the Ram-lets!!
Second, shehulk723 I hope things get better for you. You are a very strong woman for being able to handle everything that's going on and I pray you can catch a break soon.
