Today is a kid free SeaWorld day for H and I. Styx is playing. I am gonna ride rollercoasters and shovel yummy food into my mouth. Not necessarily at the same time.
packmomma good luck at W's hearing appointment. I know it's all nerve racking, just remember speech therapy is really common if he needs it, and so much better to do it now then wait. Big hugs.
Tonight is the make up date for tree cook off that was cancelled a few weeks ago. I'm also getting M's pictures done again this morning, our photographer is doing Dr Seuss minis.
I'm clearly to tired to tag. I am still in bed waiting for h to finish breakfast with the kids before I get up. I have a 940 ped appt for ds to recheck his ears, and I have to get my mom from the airport later. That's it for my day.

I'm outside of Dayton, OH with MH's mom's family. It's his grandmother's 100th birthday today. We're going to her nursing home in a bit with lunch and a cake. Then not sure what after. The hotel we're staying in has a pool so I am just taking advantage of that as much as I can.
So he has negative pressure in his left ear (maybe the early early start of an ear infection or just congestion from teething) and going into the tiny room where they play sounds was terrifying because for most of it he didn't react. She said his face did though so she considered him within normal range. Whew. We have his speech on Monday. Thank you for all the well wishes. I definitely needed them. Eta:he was sitting on my lap so I couldn't see his face but his body didn't really turn unless she turned on the toys.
packmomma how did he do on the other part of the hearing test? That's the part that M has trouble with.
They did the 2 sensors and his right ear looked good but his left didn't have the spike in the right place. She said it looked like he had some pressure in his ears (likely from congestion) but to watch him for pain signs because it could be the very beginning of an ei. But she said things were overall in the normal range. I was super nervous when he wasn't responding in the room with the noises but she said he was probably distracted with his drink (which I would've taken away if I had known) and that she saw his face react even if he didn't look. How did m do in the room? I feel like I heard more noises than w did but I couldn't see his face (just felt his body not really react).
taketheshot Amazon delivered a water wow book, M loves it!
We just went to the tiny playground in or neighborhood. No one else was there so M and I went down the slides so many times! I posted a few videos on Facebook, he was having a blast! Actually so was I!

packmomma, I had a similar experience in the noise box when ds1 had testing. The tester said the toys are almost always what kids respond to the most. My two oldest have done speech therapy, and it's possible #3 will too. They're slow to talk and copy each other's mispronounciations. You are doing great by being proactive, believe me. Waiting and seeing can make it harder/more frustrating in the long run. #3 has started having the same mega tantrums #1 had, mostly due to an inability to communicate. Hang in there

I should be productive but I think I'm going to nap. For the fetus. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. Crazy. I'm going to have to tell the boys at some point so they'll stop jumping on me.
