I have been watching on and off. You can see when her sort of shudder every once in awhile but not often. I am assuming that is the contractions. It's cool but nothing exciting is happening yet. #InvestedInAprilsUte
DS had his first swim lesson today. DH got in with him so I could leave before the end and go to yoga. I think he liked it but he was a little overwhelmed. I'm interested to see how he does as he gets more comfortable. Has anyone else done swim lessons yet?
M's done 2 rounds now. I'll bet he'll get more comfortable each class.

You and me both friend 😄 I turned it on too.
A few of the times that I have turned it on the zookeeper will feed her over by the camera. It's really funny to see her big tongue grabbing the food because it looked like she was going to lick the camera. I was amused. I may need to get a life. Lol

There's something super fascinating about it! I've loved the times I've seen her get down the ground. The way their legs bend is so cool.

Thank you to whoever told me about "call the Midwife" I've been in bbd since yesterday with a fever. That show has kept me sane! So much better than watching "mama June from not to hot"
Omg you guys. DS went to bed at the normal time last night and everything was fine. Around midnight he started whining and crying. I went in a couple times to check on him and rock him a little. He was fine but he absolutely would not go back to sleep! He just rolled around in his crib babbling and sometimes crying a little. DH went in a couple of times too. We tried putting him in our bed around 2:30 (which we've never done before) but that was a fail also. I finally just got up with him at 3 am and we played until 7 am when he crashed and burned. I think he slept until a little after 10 but DH was obviously in charge by then. I have no clue if he's going to nap today or what. This has happened one other time around Christmas when we were visiting the ILs. Do you think he could be having a leap or something? I'm so exhausted today. I literally did not sleep at all until after 7 am!

smilesp I hope it's just a once in awhile thing for you. A few weeks ago G was having a problem with getting up and partying in the middle of the night. She did it for at least two weeks. She wasn't crying or anything just playing in her crib and babbling and such. I turned down the baby monitor and ignored her because I was losing too much sleep. If she was crying I would hear her because we share a wall. Is your room close enough to his to make this work? That we he plays by himself until he falls asleep in his crib without you having to be there and you would get some sleep.

It's only happened one other time. He is normally a very good sleeper. His room is down the hall from ours but he was loud enough that even with the monitor off he was keeping us awake (me more so than DH because he's a heavy sleeper). Once we got up he was perfectly happy. It was just like we had gotten up for the day at the normal time.

hopefully it won't happen again and he will sleep good tonight.
Haiii. Busy day so far. Groceries and playing and laundry. J is napping. He had finally fallen asleep and I smelled the tell tale signs of a poopy diaper so I had to go in and change him. It was nasty. Poor guy. Now he's awake, trying to fall back to sleep. He's very tired so I hope he can get a snooze in.

It looks like no nap for G today. This is not good. She only napped 40 minutes yesterday and it was in the stroller. Ugh I can't take the constant tears in the evening when she doesn't nap.
Just looked at the forecast for vacation next week. Storms every day except the day I was planning on Disney. I picked that day because EMH the day before.
The other day I was thinking of has PM showers. I'm wondering if we should go that day instead? I'm buying the tickets tomorrow so I have to decide soon. Gah, I just wanted some sunshine!
Oh I thought the giraffe had the baby already? I think she went into labor the same time I did. Shows what I know lol
They started the live cam like a week and a half ago. I think they led everyone to believe that it was showing her in the early stages of labor but in actuality it's her prepping herself for labor. There has been a lot of nothing going on. Every so often you see some stomach movement or a contraction but other than that it's a lot of giraffe stuff. Ya know eating, walking around and being tall.
