It's funny you guys are talking about size. I had a growth scan yesterday and baby was measuring 7.5 lbs at 34 weeks. The ob is sure it will be over 10 lbs. Ds was 9.0 dd was 7lbs 15oz so I was prepared for a big baby, but over 10lbs? Good thing I have a c section scheduled. Also the PAIN.... My ob told me he is positive I have symphysis pelvic dysfunction. (And its not fun) I'm stuggling over here with just walking. It's so exciting some of the babies are coming. We are getting so close!!
onesweetworld , my DD was 7lbs15oz so just shy of 8 lbs. It was doable! Just an anecdote in case you're seeing that number and thinking, "whoa."
Sorry for all the pain, tarynleann , that sounds awful.
Big babies sound scary, but as my Ob put it, "fat squishes". Big heads and boney babies don't.
I like this! Although DD also had a 99th percentile head, and I didn't find the "ring of fire" to be anywhere near as bad as I imagined it would be, although I don't know if the vacuum makes that easier or not.

Acupuncture. Seriously. It has changed my life.
ETA I'm sorry about the pain. It's horrible, I could hardly walk before I started acupuncture. Now I hardly have any discomfort.

I just pre-bought my tickets to take DD to the live action Beauty & the Beast next weekend! She is obsessed with that movie- the animated version is the only DVD she will let us put in ever, and she re-enacts scenes from it all the time. I hope she isn't weirded out by the different version. I'm so excited!

Weighing in on baby weight estimated. The twins were estimated at 5.5lbs each 2 weeks ago. They were born at just slightly over 5lbs and are now under 5 and wearing preemie diapers. And I still ended up with a second degree tear.

Congratulations on your little babies!!!! So exciting. Hopefully you get a bit of sleep befor you go home and that you heal quickly!!!
I'm helping my old boss out at a local RV show this weekend, and walking on all this concrete for two long days is rough when you're super off balance. And I have to wear the company polo shirt, which is super uncomfortably stretching around this big belly. Oh and jeans! Ugh I needed the pockets or else I'd def be rocking my LuLa.
So I spent the morning in L&D again. Didn't feel any movements at all this morning after a quieter day yesterday. When I went in babies HB was good, but still wasn't too active. So we did another BPP, and looked okay, although didn't do quiet as well as the previous ones although the doc didn't seem too concerned. Back on the monitor after that baby looked much better and finally started to move some. It made me very nervous.
Also, my Ob had me do a 24 hour urine protein test, which unfortunately came back high. It means technically I have preeclampsia. Just no other signs or features. They'll keep watching me close, but ultimately it means they will want me to likely deliver between 37 and 38 weeks. I'm trying to gear myself up for a c section. I'm also feeling unprepared for baby being here In 2 weeks.
I just felt exhausted today from the emotional up and downs of worrying about baby and realizing this kid is probably coming earlier than I originally thought.
