I go to get my hair done tomorrow, which I need desperately, but have no clue what I want to do. Sigh. Normally I have a clear idea what I want, but this time I have no clue. I'm trying to grow it out, and it's totally at an awkward stage.

@janetheconquerer parenting is hard, you aren't lying. But I agree with mrspiatt and probably would lean towards taking him to the Dr just to rule out anything that can be fixed.

Hey ampaints! We've been busy, but doing well. I'm trying to be more present when I'm with A and H, which means putting down my phone more, so I only get to play on here when it's a slow day at work. And I'm feeling overwhelmed at work lately so that hasn't happened at all this past week. I know I have much to catch up on! Thanks for checking in on us.
I've been meaning to check in about a couple of things though - I was inspired by packmomma to do more artsy things with A...so far I have discovered she doesn't care much for crayons, but loves markers and pens. And fingerpainting isn't her thing because she hates being dirty! She kept asking me to "clean, clean" her hands, haha. She is her father's daughter.
Also, whoever recommended the Hoopla app, thank you! I was able to immediately check out a book I've been on the waiting list for weeks for on Overdrive. Reading is something I always mean to make more time for. It's helpful to listen to books in the car at least.
I need to call the project managers on all installs starting the next 6 days to make sure we are all squared away to start, today. That's a lot of talking when I don't want too. Lol
N cried a few times MOTN but other than that it was good sleep. Students are on break today so it should be super quiet and slow. Not looking forward to it dragging but maybe I'm wrong.
Yay for no fever @janetheconquerer! Good luck with getting everything done today. My brain always goes to mush the day before I'm going to be on leave for a while.
The interesting ads on tapatalk continue. This morning I'm looking at Ninja Shadow, which apparently involves a bunch of scantily dressed anime guys in a pool. Wut?
Thanks for all the well wishes guys. W's appt went well. We need to go twice a week for 6 months. Now I have to find a speech therapist in our area who takes our insurance. We had the evaluation at CHOA and it's $100 an appt (so quite a bit of money over 6 months). The woman who did his evaluation said she doesn't think anything is physically wrong just that he's a late talker and needs to be encouraged. She thinks speech therapy will find ways to encourage him to want to talk and that he is definitely behind on verbal but good on receptive. I'm hopeful but nervous. She also recommended we go to an ent to get his ear checked out to make sure he's hearing us clearly (the fluid in his right ear and a lot of wax could be muddling the sounds). So today I will be trying to find those specialists.
layloo08, my coffee isn't so special and honestly a bit disappointing. due to the early start i thought, hey i can swing by panera, get my free coffee drink, and a sandwich on the gift card i still have - great start to the morning. well panera's oven broke and there were no bagels or bread. they brought in from another store. so i have a sandwich on a multi grain thing and not my everything bagel like i wanted. and my free coffee was not a special coffee just a plain ol coffee.
Good sleep last night, thank you ibuprofen. Or, at least that is what I am going to attribute to K getting a good night of sleep in. Debating on giving her some again tonight or seeing if her teeth have stopped bothering her overnight. She did wake up with a little gunk in her eyes, but I am 99.9% positive it is just from nasal congestion. Most of her congestion is on that side and it is what happened last time too. She also had a dirty diaper when I went into her room. Her bum wasn't red so I am hoping she didn't sleep in it. Ick.
