I've reached a new low... I just spent too much money on a belly band with groin compression straps. I'm terrified I won't be able to walk next week with this newly acquired groin pain. My logic is that if it doesn't help, at least I can use the belly band post C-section. I didn't use anything last time because I didn't realize I should have....
When I was a sophomore in highschool (so like 15 years ago), I developed a bartholin gland cyst (it's the gland in your vagina that produces lube). It got so swollen and painful that it hurt to walk. I ended up in the ER with it and they had to cut it open, drain the fluid, and then pack it with gauze (that had to be changed regularly) to prevent it from refilling. It was very traumatic for a 15 year old girl. Ha.

Does anyone else wake up during he night with an extreme stomach ache. I'm assuming it's my body and obstructions in my bowel but I thought I'd better check first. I sleep on my left side (have my whole life) and I use a pregnancy pillow so I know I'm not rolling on my back or belly
Me: 29 DH: 35 NTNP since May 2013 charting since June 2014 dx: Graves disease (radioactive iodine), Crohns disease (abdominal surgeries) MMC October 2015 (9 weeks) Severe MFI diagnosis July 2015

I've had it a few times but not consistently, so I don't really have anything to add except commiseration. I hope it goes away for you.

Here's a new one: depending on baby's position, it can be pretty tough to wipe. I feel like I'm squishing her and my organs when I try to reach forward.

Yes! This baby doesn't like being squished so I get kicked as soon as I lean forward.
sdlauralindsay LTs for support. pregnancy is crazy. i've heard PUPPP is miserable, and sdlaura i had a friend who swore her nose widened with her daughter. but she says it went back to normal quickly after delivery!

This second pregnancy is no joke compared to the first! The giant vericose vein in my groin is terrible, my whole vagina is swollen too. I have a terrible head cold and sniss myself a bunch of times daily. I guess that I should be grateful that I can still poop daily!
Not exactly TMI, but a super fun new symptom - I think my nose is expanding in size
My nose definitely gets bigger! Every time I see a pic of myself all I see is my huge nose! A friend of mine says thats her way of knowing people are pregnant before they announce.

animaldoctor as someone who still only poops once, maybe twice a week (despite daily max amount of colace plus fiber tablets), I am jealous of your daily habits.

ihatepizza all day, everyday. Both DS and this one are determined to dislocate and or/crack a rib on my right side. I'm constantly trying to push him out of there... With DS it got better around this time since he dropped a bit, but this time the baby seems to be extra comfy in my ribcage. So I feel your pain!
Ughhhh you guys this discharge. It's so gross. I need like 5 showers a day.
I agree! I don't remember it being this bad with my 1st.
Same. And - total TMI - it smells this time. It makes me worried that maybe I have Group B Strep? Which I know is not the end of the world, but I don't want to have to get to the hospital earlier than I want to, or have to have antibiotics.
So I just started taking a womens' probiotic designed to make your "vaginal flora" healthier (ha , and have started eating more yogurt. Is anyone else doing anything different to try to prevent Group B Strep?

sdlaura, I have group B strep, my guess is because my immune system sucks. I feel like there is nothing really that can prevent it, I'm on high dose probiotics because of my autoimmune condition (ulcerative colitis) and pretty much have the healthiest diet on the planet thanks to the GD. That being said I don't have any discharge at all, and what I do have doesn't smell so I'm assuming they are unrelated but who knows. I'm afraid to research as I don't want to scare myself

sdlaura i've been more consistent in taking my regular probiotic and am also taking extra vitamin c, but i know people who have taken precautions and still tested positive like ihatepizza said.
