1.) It's raining here so we just ate our lunch on a blanket on the living room floor. DD loved our "indoor" picnic. (Cheap thrills kid) 2.) I'm out of foundation but didn't make it to the store do looks like I'm going to work tonight make up free. Might be a little scary. 3.) Our TV broke yesterday. Looks like we will be spending some $ this weekend we weren't planning on
We are dealing with this too. I just let her climb in bed with us if it's after 6:00. We are thinking of getting one of those clocks for her because I would like to be able to sleep in a little on a weekend. She use to be so good at chilling in her crib until we get her, now she can leave she doesn't hang out in her bed.
This is my biggest fear of converting to a bed.
ds will get out of bed when we're trying to get him to go to sleep, but in the morning he won't get out. It's so strange. He will sit on the edge of the bed and maybe whine or yell for us. 8/10 times if I go in and say it's not time to get up yet, he'll go back to sleep.

I try to have her lay with us on the weekends and if I'm lucky I get another 20 minutes of half sleep. Then she literally pushes me out of bed and says 'suns up! It's daytime!' She still lets DH sleep in though and won't bother him. Heaven forbid I attempt and all hell breaks lose. It's easier to half sleep half drink coffee on the couch while she watches cartoons in the mornings.
1. DD's bilirubin is down and she's already 6 lbs 1 oz (from 5 lbs 7 oz at birth). 2. DH has a job interview at 3:30 today. Come on job with benefits! 3. DD has been doing great with baby. She's just sad they can't play yet.
I'm glad you're alive! DS had it over Xmas and DH and I got milder versions of it. I still have PTSD from it.
It's so hard watching an 8 month old with it. She was miserable.
DS had it when he was 9 months old. It was horrible to watch and it took him awhile to fully recover. We'd send him back to DC only to have them call us that he started puking again. The pedi had us switch to soy formula for awhile and then ease him back into dairy.

She's keeping formula down and pedialite, but she's dehydrated. A little lethargic too. 😌
Glad you guys are starting to get better Susan0utLoud. You're right about having to watch the little ones go through it. G had the bug when she was around 9 months old and she threw up while in her carseat. It was coming out of her nose too. I don't think I'll ever forget the look of terror on her face.

That's good that she's keeping formula and pedialite down. I know dehydration is the biggest concern but hopefully she'll bounce back quickly.
This is my first time doing one of these but here goes...
1. I've been doing a work out video in the morning before work, this is the first time I've done anything since DS was born. I hurt my calf and now it hurts to walk, but I've been trying to push though it.
2. DS started swim class a few weeks ago, he likes it, but my my concern is he spends a lot of time watching on the edge of the pool and not in the water and it's only 30 minute class.
3. DH and I have date night tonight, trying to get out a little more without DS.
1. Day 2 without DH and both kids are still alive and happy. Only 3 more days. 2. DS2 is 11 months old. How did that happen so fast? 3. I plan to relax all weekend while DH takes care of the kids. I can dream, right?
I'm not exactly sure, I guess I pulled a muscle by stretching or jumping the wrong way. Now my ankle also hurts and it's swollen, so I think I'm going to have to take a break. We are going to Florida in six weeks but I guess it's better if I can actually walk then look good in a bathing suit....

Do you have a rolling pin? Roll it on your calf slowly and apply some pressure. This should help move lactic acid around and loosen some things up and may help with the pain. If your ankle is also hurt I'd practice RICE and keep some ice off it and stay off it when you can. If it feels better in a few days test it back out but don't push or you'll end up with a stress fracture or going from a pull/strain in your calf to a tear.

Thanks for the advice! I did put ice on my ankle this evening and will try to stay off it but it's hard with being a teacher. I will definitely try the rolling pin thing!

Oh I forgot that part about being a teacher, that makes it harder! Hope it feels better quickly
