Agree gldnbearz. The problem in San Diego isn't freezing cold temps. It's that, for the second year in a row, we haven't had a winter. And winter is when we get our rain. We need lots of rain!
calimomof1 As nice as the weather has been, we need the rain so badly. All of the trees are confused and blooming early, causing allergies to follow. It's also concerning for fire season.
This is one of our main interstates. All the roads look like this. Eek!
Whoa. Does your state have salt or any means to get rid of it? Or do you have to wait it out?
We have limited trucks because it only does this once or twice a year/every other year. But it starts out iced over so there's no way to get it before it freezes. If that makes sense....

Makes sense, totally stinks. But luckily it's pretty rare, then.

Ditto to pixie523. I'm from the Chicago area and we're getting an arctic blast this week. Thursday's high temperature is going to be 2. As in 2 degrees Fahrenheit temperature not including wind chill. F that.
