Yes they are still babies GDI !!!!!
I really really hope today doesn't count as a day danib. I'm sorry for all the delays. Does he at least get paid for all the extra time he's there? Or doesn't work like that?
It did actually! Thank you for asking. She went back down by 9:30 and slept until 4:30, then back to sleep until 7:30.
DS stayed up whining until like 10:30. Fortunately MH had responded to my SOS text and came home "early" from work (like 9), so he handled the toddler.
My little cherub just went down for her long morning nap, so hopefully today is back to our regularly scheduled programming.

My H was in a car wreck yesterday. He's fine! (O was not in the car) The car not so much, we won't hear from the adjuster for a couple of days. He was stopped at a red light and a car hit him going full speed (45 mph), didn't even slow down. The crazy thing was, he had got off work that morning (works nights) and I asked him to bring me my breast pump downtown (30 mins away) bc I forgot it at home. He got hit 1/4 mile down the road leaving my office!
Question for the group: our week old Graco convertible car seat ($250) was in the car. It looks fine, no damage. But the manual says to replace if in any accident. Would u replace it?
Here is my pretty lady. Sorry it's a repeat from IG for some of you!
She'll be 16 weeks on Friday, 4 months a week from Saturday ðŸ˜
She started making some really funny noises yesterday and today. Almost like a growl, but it's a happy noise. It's really funny! My nanny took some video of it (because my phone is shit)...maybe I'll post it on FB.
cookswithwine9, thank God YH is okay!! Mine totaled his car a few weeks ago when he spun out on black ice on the highway and smashed it into a guardrail. Also no injuries. We are all lucky!
Re: the carseat, I'm not sure. I think the rec to replace has to do with the impact affecting the integrity of the plastics, so potentially yes, you would need to replace it. But it might be worth a call to the manufacturer, given that the baby was not in the seat at the time. Also, check to see if your insurance (or the other guy's insurance, in your case) will cover the replacement cost.

danib and dashook we are trying to get the at fault driver's insurance to replace it. I actually still have the receipt! So hopefully we can go that route but the lady on the phone said it wasn't likely.

They really should. Car seats are expensive (and didn't you just get a new one? That was you, right?).

I've had my IG for almost five years and have only posted 20 times. By the time I start using it the thing will be old news. I should really start getting with it.
Hi everyone! My night sucked again, but was incrementally better than the night before I guess. Went to my favorite wed morning yoga class and now just trying to make goals for the rest of the day.
cookswithwine9 it absolutely sucks that it's brand new, but you should DEFintely replace the car seat. It has nothing to do with whether the baby was in the seat. If you think about bending plastic, it was some give until it just snaps. If it has already been challenged/ weakened as in during an accident, it could snap easier the next time, before the point it has been crash tested for. Insurance *should* cover it.

C and I have our first class at the Little Gym in an hour. It's going to line up perfectly with when he'll be ready to nap so I hope it goes OK. I tried to get him to take a mini nap before we leave but he'd much rather eat his hand and stare at himself in the swing mirror.
Tummy time! This kid loves playing with "Baby Colin" in the mirror.
Does anyone else creep on peoples pictures and look at the backgrounds and such? It can't be just me, right?😂
Haha I do it too. I always try to make sure there's nothing embarrassing in the backgrounds of my pictures.
On a similar note, did I ever tell you guys that my mom sent my aunts a picture of my boob when C was born? She didn't even notice it until my sister mentioned it.

So I'm home today. Both kids are sick still. DS1 is on the upswing but DS2 is just miserable. If he's not sleeping then he's crying and he'll only sleep on me. Poor guy has a cough and the worst congestion. He didn't take anything at all from the bottle yesterday and only an ounce on Monday.
Anyway, here are my kids from happier days over the weekend.
We've been lazy this morning, but are about to head out for some lunch. We're going over to my parents' club for dinner tonight. Two nights in a row of not cooking...the best.
Here's my bathing beauty
And the three of us last week at the Alligator Farm last week. Clearly C was riveted...
I have IG, I've been much better about using it the last couple months. If y'all would like I can start a post in the N16 group and we can post usernames?
