Both kids slept through the night yesterday. I forgot what a full nights sleep seems like! I just got home and the contractors are still here. I really hope they finish up soon for the day. I hate listening to them work.

My husband just backed into the garage door and broke it. I eased his frustration with himself by telling him it's OK. These things happen. And calling someone to come look at it and possibly fix it. Meanwhile thinking "you better as hell remember this the next time I make a mistake" he treats me like I've hurt his children. It's a truck and a garage door. Just wait until Jane spills liquid all over a new laptop or something. Things happen.
catherineoctober I'm notorius for hitting/denting my cars. I thought I was being extra careful with our explorer but nope. At some pt I scratched the shit out of the driver side tire area. And the truck has those sensors! I have to say dh wasn't as mad as I expected him to be.
It is absolutely beautiful outside. I wish we had outdoor furniture or some shade in our backyard to go out and enjoy it. I have several windows open and I'm just listening to the elementary school kids have recess. I really hope we get a nice spring this year and don't flip flop between winter and summer like we did last year.
This is the toy storage I'm looking at. I need to see it in person and measure my basement. The wardrobe I like is the one with sliding doors but snacks $149 is such a good deal.

Also, sorry about the hair loss requiressnacks. I'm waiting for it to start for me, nothing yet. I've been through major hair loss before due to thyroid disease and it sucks, but it will grow back. I remember being at a conference a few years ago with my hair up, not realizing that my hair had started to grow back in. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror and had tiny spiky baby hairs sticking out all over my head! Very professional, lol. If you have a lot of loss at your hairline bangs can be great.
emilie, the insertion kind of sucked, but it wasn't terrible. I took some tylenol for the cramping and took a nap when I got home, and by the time I woke up I wasn't cramping anymore. My lower back just feels a bit achy. The bleeding is what I didn't anticipate...it's like a light period. I'm wondering how long until that goes away. My OB said since I have three kids I have to watch every time I go to the bathroom for a week to make sure it doesn't fall out and I can't have sex for that week either. Then I go back in 4 weeks to make sure it's still there too. I don't think I would get it if I was planning on TTC in a year...seems like too much hassle. Maybe consider the Implanon instead? Though I've never had that one, so I don't actually know if it's any more/less hassle.
littlelion , H and I bought an Ikea wardrobe while I was pregnant. The boxes were HUGE and HEAVY. Also, putting it together really tested our relationship. but, it looks great and only cost $149. So there's that.

I'm glad yours grew back!!
It's so odd because I don't remember ever getting this luscious pregnancy hair, but apparently I must have had it. LOL

emilie, I'll be honest....my insertion sucked. But I'm also unsure if I'm just a baby because I thought the HSG was super painful too. The only good thing is that it was relatively quick.
Personally, if I were to be TTC in a year I wouldn't do it.

Ugh, I guess condoms it is. I tried the mini pill and it turned me into a crying mess, and also made my boobs so achey that nursing was painful
Uggh, our lovely afternoon has turned into a fussy evening. I don't know if she's still grumpy from her shots or what but she's either been crying or eating since 3. She desperately needs to sleep, poor girl. I'm hoping dh can get her down and she'll be out all night.

I'm on the mini pill right now and hate it. I didn't want to use implanon, and IUD doesn't make sense for how long I'd have it in. I miss my Nuvaring.
