Our power finally came back on! Woo!! I'm afraid to look in my freezer. Also there's a trampoline in the middle of the street blocking my exit so I obvs can't go to work.

Obviously work isn't important. Stay in bed.
I'm still going to work. But I'd much rather work from my recliner than my office. I have Netflix to catch up on.
Little stinker flipped last night. I just need him to stay that way now.
I, er, may have chased him with an ice pack on my stomach until he decided being cold was not fun
For some reason, this image is super funny to me right now.
It kinda was.. one ice pack was kept on the top of my belly. A second was placed wherever I felt his head until it moved. He eventually decided flipping was an excellent way to avoid the cold. He has been retaliating all night and morning for it
Good morning. I thought of a pretty good UO (I think) earlier in the week but of course I have forgotten it.
I am meeting with my bosses today to talk about my maternity leave. I feel like it is unnecessarily dramatic (mostly because they waited so long) and I have no idea what to expect. I have my own ideas on the minimum offer that I would be happy with so hopefully they don't offer me less and I don't have to start a fight (or embarrass myself by getting emotional).
5 more. I'm actually working until next Wednesday to finish out the pay period. But I'm pretty confident they won't actually give me any work to do next week.

I think you should make sure you make your wants known first. Don't let them plan your leave for you. Go in and say "this is what I would like to do". And then take it from there.
Good morning! I'm on my way to the airport to head to my company's annual spring meeting. Not a good day for it to be 18 minutes between trains (supposed to be 6-8 this time of day). I hope TSA is quick and the PreCheck line is short!
PirateCat - Good luck with the conversation. I agree with mustloveerica. If possible, kick off the discussion with what you would like (more than your minimum). If that doesn't work, no worries!
I'm about to set up time with my boss to go over my leave and my H convinced me to ask for a mid-October return date when I would be happy with the start of October .

Baby is a measuring about a week ahead. They are saying she's 6.3 ounces. I'm on weekly appointments with weekly ultrasounds because of blood pressure.
Anyone else have RLP flare up when you're walking? As I was heading to the train it was pretty bad on my right side. Stopped as soon as I stopped moving. I was also wearing my work backpack and carrying a small duffel bag cross-body, so maybe just too much and/or off balance?

I pretty much only ever felt it while walking. I'd imagine the movement is an easy trigger.

I had it really bad on my right side for about a month at the end of second tri. Only would happen if I was walking and would only get better if I stopped and sat down for a minute. Now I only get it occasionally but I think I learned that it's better for me to get up slowly and not try to walk to fast right after I get up.

Yay for flipping baby, hpnegirl! Now hopefully he stays that way! I would be trying everything I could if I wasn't having a RCS. Baby boy is quite happy being butt down.

So I have looked everywhere and can't find my 3rd car seat base for our infant seat. My parents insist that they gave it back to us. I'm starting to look into getting a new car seat now, which I'm happy about but not happy about. I'm happy because I did not like our infant seat but not happy because of the extra money we'll have to spend now.
