I don't want to wean yet but I'm getting really frustrated with E and nursing. She will not stay still. She signs over and over for milk so I start to nurse her. She pops on and off a million times, stands up, downward dog, balances on one foot. It's sooooo frustrating. So then I'll tell her all done and fix my shirt and she'll start to cry and sign more milk. Wtf do I do?
Do you think she's thirsty? Does she take sippy cups?
I still haven't had a pp period yet, and I'm not looking forward to that when we stop nursing... or if it comes before. Ugh.
What?! I'm so jealous!
I have no idea how I haven't had one yet.... with DS2 I got it at 5 months pp, but I also had Mirena and it was making me get a period constantly.... I'm not on any BC currently, so maybe that's part of it?

I'm not on birth control of any kind and got my first pp a week before J turned five months old! My older sister thinks it's because J has mostly slept through the night.

Yeah, my kid doesn't sleep through the night. So, don't be too jealous lol.

She does yes. She loves water and when home with me also has one sippy of cow's milk. Maybe when she's being annoying I'll offer her water instead and see what that does. Except she's almost always annoying lol. I switched where I was sitting again yesterday for nursing and it calmed her down a little. I think she just doesn't like to be still lol.

One of my nieces doesn't like to be still while nursing. My SIL calls it gymnurstics. She doesn't usually pop off though. She just does all these weird positions while still attached. I think she has calmed down some at almost 18 months... J doesn't usually move around much but when she starts popping off I cut her off. I get so annoyed when she won't stay on! Sometimes she'll get upset and start fussing when I put her down, and I just try to find something (toy, book, sippy cup) to distract her.

Yeah I think I'll have to start doing that. Since at this point it isn't like it's really important she nurses. If she's going to keep popping off then we're done. I think part of it is my letdown isn't as fast as it once was so she gets distracted. Mind you she now finds it fun if she pops off and I am leaking to play with the milk. Seriously, I hope soon she stops all her shenanigens. Her morning nursing is my favourite, no goofing off.

I woke up today with my right breast throbbing on the under side. Not mastitis, maybe a clogged duct... It hurts so bad even just sitting still. It leaked this morning so I pumped it some (didn't want her to nurse it because of the pain.) No relief. Ugh. I just want it to go away!
