She's is doing well. She is being released but the babies are not because they are down 12% of their birth weight. Baby H will be on the lights through the nights because they both are a bit jaundice. They passed their car seat tests on the second try. Baby E passed her hearing test on the second try but H failed. (If you don't know, her H has family history of hearing loss)

was that Baby H's repeat test?
She failed both I believe.
This is a cut/paste/edit of what Mustloveerica said to me about Baby H: She may just be full of mucus. Her H is hearing impaired. So is much of his family. So they fully expected to possibly not pass the hearing test.
Wow, what a whirlwind! Happy birthdays to the girls and congrats to mom and dad! I x2 the nutpunch to the anesthesiologist.
I hope you get some answers about H's hearing test results ASAP. I know having that question over your head can make things hard to deal with. <3 But congrats on the girls being able to skip the NICU!
Girl, congratulations on your beautiful babies!!! You are an absolute rockstar to go through an unmedicated twin delivery like that. Wow.
I'm sorry the aftermath was so rough for you. It actually sounds very similar to my experience after having my first and I was all Miley Cyrus nodding my head like yeah while reading the part about not screaming during birth but like horror movie screaming afterwards. I'm so glad you and the girls are doing well now and I wish you so much bliss and happiness with them, and a smooth, speedy recovery.
CONGRATS!!! That 2nd part sounds like it was so traumatic, I'm so sorry you had to endure that after a relatively smooth delivery of the babies. Glad you're all okay in the end They are so beautiful!
I also had back/butt labor (that my epidural didn't touch) and bled heavily after the delivery, but I had one baby and was fine within an half hour. I can't imagine two babies, an ICU visit, and NICU visits for both. ::hugs:: You have my sympathies and awe.
I know going home without them was hard, but I bet that night was helpful to your recovery. Take care of yourself - you count, too, in this whole process!
