Why did I think an 8 am flight on DST was a good idea?
Also getting here to find a 2 hour delay so now I have to entertain W for 3.5 hours before the flight is like a cruel joke.
I usually just let G run around and I follow her in the area by the gate. It wears her out before the flight and keeps her happy. I had to entertain her for about 6 hours at the airport coming home from the cruise and it was tiring but tolerable.
I took M to bookclub/playgroup this morning so that was fun. Now she's napping. She went down without a fight only a few minutes past her normal time. She definitely did not sleep in an hour this morning, bummer.
H took W to go play. I'm baking biscuits to go with the fresh shrimp the guys are grilling for dinner. I'm enjoying the silence of our condo before meeting up with the other 27 members of my family.
On the flight I got upgraded to the larger seats because it was the last on unassigned and spirit makes people with lap infants check in in person. Don't mind if I do!

While I was in the bathroom A managed to pull our Brita pitcher off the counter and spilled it all over the kitchen. Then she dumped the dog's water bowl in the living room.
Reeeeally wishing I could pour myself a drink right about now.

Any moms with older kids ever buy a Bitty Baby? G got one from my ILs for Christmas. She looooooves her babies so I really want to give it to her. The problems is they are smokers and the doll reeks of smoke. The care instructions say to only wipe it down, I cannot wash it. I emailed American Girl but haven't gotten a response yet. Is there any tricks that may work? Should I post this on parenting instead? She I just trek into Manhattan and pay to have the doll cleaned at the store?
Ugh. Uggggghhhhhh. Bedtime sucked tonight. I think time change and her cold. I almost never have to go back in after bedtime anymore but she was crying hard today and with her being sick, no. So much rocking. So much crying. Luckily I think she's finally asleep now.

Haaiiii! We were away all weekend (MILs and then dropping J at my parents for the next two days) and just now getting to relax.
DST seemed to be ok although my mom said J just went to bed at 830 which is about an hour later than usual. He's got a bit of a cold so I hope he sleeps well for her.
Tomorrow is DHs birthday and since J is away we get to have a real grown up night out!! Much excite!

DS dumps the dog's food and water at least once a day over here.

Yeah the food bowl gets dumped on the regular, she'll play in the water but this was a first. There was just so.much.water between the two rooms! Arrgh.
