Getting my nails done...I've been saying for months that I need to find a new place because my regular place of 3+ years is under new management and going downhill fast. I'm disappointed every time I come lately. Yet here I sit...such a creature of habit.
Ugh I need a fill so badly. If the storm isn't too bad on Tuesday I may venture out to get my nails filled one more time. I have my maternity picture next Tuesday now so I have to get them done again.

I'm home. I had a lovely brunch with hpnegirl and then went off to my friend's house for her open house for her home based business. Thankfully everyone had gone earlier in the morning and I just spent 3 hours chatting and snacking on all the food she made. I actually am really happy I went because I think she's the one I need with me through labor and delivery.
She's is doing well. She is being released but the babies are not because they are down 12% of their birth weight. Baby H will be on the lights through the nights because they both are a bit jaundice. They passed their car seat tests on the second try. Baby E passed her hearing test on the second try but H failed. (If you don't know, her H has family history of hearing loss)
Posted with permission from mustloveerica who is headed home to get some much needed sleep and prepare her home for babies.

onesweetworld speaking of POM there's a girl there who just got diagnosed with SPD and us looking for advice. I didn't want to tag you there out of the blue but thought maybe you could help?

MH is making dinner. I'm so glad...even though I know the clean kitchen will be destroyed. Could not face making dinner tonight! Now to see if he cleans up or leaves that to me...

Let's hope you get the best of both worlds! A dinner and a clean kitchen

Knock me over with a feather...he appears to be cleaning the kitchen. I'm scared to go in there to see in case that makes him stop 😂

icedtea mostly got a variety of bins/fabric cube things to organize the closet with. Also got a hamper, trash can, and curtain rod for the nursery. I really wanted to get one of those small rolling cart things but they don't have any cute colors anymore, boo. What kinds of things are you looking for?

So exciting that you guys found a house you like!
Everything, ha. I'm not even sure. Some shelving and fabric cubes, I think.
Yes! I figure if it's meant to be, it'll work out. And if not, then we have lots of time to keep looking.
littlelion I have the same space ship pair. Never used them with DS but planning to put them on baby girl at some point.
@cnf2023 you can dye while pregnant! I've maintained my highlights through both pregnancies. But do what makes you comfortable.
hpnegirl sending head down vibes! My kids loved being head down so maybe my vibes will work...
Any word from mustloveerica ? How are you? How are those cute babies?
Really? I thought dying hair, at least in first tri, was a no no. That's good to know. I'm not one to cut much out when pregnant, though I might still at least wait until I hit second tri.

You want to make sure the bathroom is well vented and to not leave it on longer than in the instructions, but yes, you can dye your hair.
I did mine around the time I found out (I think it was the weekend prior), then at 12-13 weeks. I've dyed it once since then and am trying to wait until closer to 35w to do one last dye (33w now). I just don't do it as often when pregnant but my hair doesn't grow as fast when pregnant either
ETA: pretty sure it was at the 13w mark as that's what I personally consider to be 2nd tri start and about when the smell no longer wanted to make me puke

Add me to dyed my hair group. I've had it done twice already and I'm 15w. I go to a salon so the smell issue wasn't as much of an issue and all the stuff I've read makes me pretty comfortable with it (as much as with anything, ha). Of course if it makes you more stressed than dyed hair will make you happy, it's not worth it!

I bought hair dye a few weeks ago then never used it. Looks like I won't be using it anytime soon now. I haven't died my hair since before I got pregnant with DD and I'm itching to do it. I'm sick of looking at my natural dirt colored hair.
My OB gave me the go ahead to dye while pregnant. I waited until first tri was over and made sure airflow was even better than usual. Depending on your personal comfort level you could go for it!
