lightside that is a super high-quality US pic! Too cute
Is this a Level 2 ultra sound?
I'm not sure. The radiology unit is in a brand new private surgical hospital so it's quite possible (It just happens to be a block from my office so I've been trying to get my US appointments there). I will ask at the A/S.
My midwife called today and my results for the genetic testing came back normal. I still don't know about the cystic fibrosis gene because those results haven't come in yet. We are also having a little girl! I'm so excited!

Late to the party this week, wanted to wait for my appt to report back.
EDD: 9/2
How many weeks today: 15w6d
Previous appointment results: Cerclage follow up slash 16 week appt was today. OB is very happy with my cervix and I have been cleared to go back to my low level of activity (as in, I can go for a walk, or take the stairs). Also taken off pelvic rest (huzzah!). Of course both of those allowances come with a warning to listen to my body and stop what I am doing if I feel like I am getting cramps or contractions. Fingers crossed my ute stays calm!
Didn't see the babe this time but had a doppler HB of 147. All good on that front. I haven't gained any weight since my last appt, which I thought was strange, but my OB was not concerned.
Next appointment scheduled (include @weeks): April 12th at approx 20 weeks for anatomy scan and cervix check
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Do you need any thoughts or prayers? Starting to feel fully engaged and a little more relaxed about this pregnancy. No prayers needed for now!
Symptoms/Cravings: Random flutters, but nothing I could officially call movement. Craving all the sweets. Trying so hard to eat healthily but not doing well! My belly button is already starting to pop out, which is ridiculous.
Any questions/concerns/advice? Nope.
Any U/S or other pictures you want to share: Nope.
QoTM: Do you journal, scrapbook, or otherwise do anything to keep track of your pregnancies or to keep you organized? If so, how is it going? What are your favorite or most useful parts of this process? Oh, I am terribly unsentimental about things like that, although I wish I did them. To keep myself organized I have a paper agenda and many spreadsheets. I keep important documents in an accordion folder. How unromantic!
DD lost and born 9/18/2013 at 24 weeks (Trisomy 18) DS born 6/16/2015 (at 39 weeks 6 days, after emergency cerclage at 23 weeks and 14 weeks of bed rest)

Edd: 9/2 (16w 2day today) Had my cervix check scan today and cervix Is measuring nice and long. Baby was moving all around. I've started feeling movement, but found out I do have an anterior placenta, so that's muffling a lot of the kicks probably.
See my OB again in 2.5 weeks (18w 5d) and will probably have another cervix check and anatomy scan around then.

Previous appointment results: NT scan on 3/15 all clear, waiting on blood test results from OB on 3/9
Next appointment scheduled (include @weeks): 4/3 @15w6d, OB checkup
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Do you need any thoughts or prayers? Physically I'm still tired on a regular basis. Emotionally the anxiety is still high. Trying to be excited, but still feel guarded.
Symptoms/Cravings: I've had sore boobs since day 1. Also feeling small headaches in the last week or so. Most of my cravings are for savory items and pretty random. Cream cheese, chicken fried steak, sandwich, soup, or salad.
Any questions/concerns/advice? I'm still trying to learn the lingo around here! I'm also debating having a gender reveal party this weekend. Part of me wants to and the other part is nervous about it being too soon.
Any U/S or other pictures you want to share:
QoTM: Do you journal, scrapbook, or otherwise do anything to keep track of your pregnancies or to keep you organized? If so, how is it going? What are your favorite or most useful parts of this process? I just use my Ovia app, and it works pretty well for me. I like reading the daily updates on the baby. I'm not much of a journaling/scrapbooking person.

EDD: 9/24
How many weeks today: 13+1
Previous appointment results: just had my monthly appt today. Nothing exciting, I heard the baby's heartbeat and just had a routine check up.
Next appointment scheduled (include @weeks): 4/26 for my anatomy scan and follow up with the OB. I should be about 18 weeks then.
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Do you need any thoughts or prayers? I'm doing alright. I'm also trying to be excited that I've made it this far, but I'm still very guarded. I do have a fetal doppler that I use, which helps some. I'm hoping I'll get there soon.
Symptoms/Cravings: still pretty sick. I had tried to go a few days without my Diclegis, and some days it's alright and then others the MS creeps back in.
Any questions/concerns/advice? None right now.
Any U/S or other pictures you want to share: nothing today.
QoTM: Do you journal, scrapbook, or otherwise do anything to keep track of your pregnancies or to keep you organized? If so, how is it going? What are your favorite or most useful parts of this process? I don't really journal or do that, I should probably start taking bump pictures since I did with DD to document this pregnancy.

EDD: 8/31
How many weeks today: 16+6
Previous appointment results: So far so good. HB 142
Next appointment scheduled: April 21 - Anatomy scan @ 20+5
How are you feeling: So far pretty good. Mornings are great. By the evenings I feel large & generally more tired.
Symptoms/Cravings: I eat a hotpocket for lunch almost every day. Something about a warm lunch just sounds good lately. Also, sparkling water.
QoTM: I write a few lines in a journal about once a week or so. Nothing crazy but it has been fun to look back & compare my last pregnancy to this one. I try to take belly shots once a week also but I haven't actually done anything with them yet. For DS I made a photo album of his first year & I keep a box of little things (hospital bracelet, handprints, art work). I also did a calendar with stickersfor the "firsts" which was super easy & fun to do.
Recent results: NT scan and combined screening results were all normal/low risk. Placenta is anterior but MW was able to find the hb easily today, in the 150s and reactive. We also talked about the possibility of a home birth, which H and I will be mulling over for the next few months.
Next appointment: Next monthly MW appointment on 4/20, then A/S early May.
Symptoms/cravings: Still vomiting. Hoping things turn around second tri, which starts tomorrow! I've also been itchy for a few weeks and trying to get on top of it with antihistamines this week. C'mon body.
lightside, I hope your MS stops second tri. I don't know how you have been surviving this long.
Thanks leviosa. It's really not that bad (I'm not sick all day every day or anything like that) but it's just annoying that I'm still losing my breakfast some days🙄
Previous appointment results: went 3/15 and finally got to hear the heartbeat. What a beautiful sound.
Next appointment scheduled (include @weeks): 4/13 @18 weeks. Just a check up with the midwife. And the big US is 4/24 @19w3d.
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Do you need any thoughts or prayers? The exhaustion is getting better. The gagging is getting better. Looking forward to the 2nd trimester.
Symptoms/Cravings: lots of food aversions, which makes it hard to want anything to eat.
Any questions/concerns/advice? Nope
Any U/S or other pictures you want to share: nope. Will have one for next month.
QoTM: Do you journal, scrapbook, or otherwise do anything to keep track of your pregnancies or to keep you organized? If so, how is it going? What are your favorite or most useful parts of this process? I just have the Ovia app to keep up with things.
I had an appointment this Friday at 13 weeks. Got to hear the heartbeat for the first time, and with no early ultrasounds it was good to have proof of life.
On a less sunshiny note, I threw up on a bus this week. I don't know my problem, but I always get the sickest heading into second tri.
