I finally made it in the office right before a mandatory meeting that shouldn't be mandatory, but if it wasn't no one would attend. It's in the 60's here and I am loving it. I took Jane to daycare this morning then logged in from home and realized my boss is on a cruise. My husband has today off from a vacation day he wanted to use so I dragged him to Costco and we got our goods then went to lunch. Back home to pretend to be working but Lync was showing me offline anyways so I went birthday shopping and got me 2 new pair of running shoes and some flipflops. I've still got $90 to spend. :-) Maybe get some new bras? no that's boring for birthday money. I'll think of something. :-)

Looks like a snow day tomorrow. My office already has a delayed opening. I'm hoping for a day at home to cuddle with Amelia. She turned 3 months today and is rolling onto her side now.
Am I the only one happy to be back at work? I love my boys but the whole feed, change diaper, sleep (if your lucky), repeat was EXHAUSTING. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if it had been anytime other than winter and we could've been outside.
dream2be3, I enjoy what I do for a living, but I don't really like the company I work for anymore, so in that sense I'd rather be at home.
It was my first day back today...it apparently did not go too well for FI who was home with DS. DD1 stayed home from preschool too because she out of the blew got a 103 degree fever yesterday, and it was still over 100 this morning. DD2 went to grandparent's house so FI wouldn't be too overwhelmed. DS apparently cried the entire time he was awake though, and he got a rash on his face from crying so hard. It actually looks almost like the one your son got, requiressnacks. Ugh. Hopefully tomorrow goes better for the both of them.
Oh, and our HR manager told me today that Aetna had given DS coverage for a month and there was a claim charged for his care, so my employer wants to charge me for that month. Is that even legal for Aetna to do? I never said I wanted to add DS to my plan, so I don't know how that even happened...he has a completely different insurance plan.

My problem has always been the hrs. 10.5 hrs at DC is too long and on time drop off/pick up's can be stressful.

I'm no insurance expert, but it's my understanding that a baby is always legally covered under the mothers insurance for the first month. However, if the baby was also enrolled in another plan at the same time, claims should've been processed under the plan you prefer. Can you see if the claim was double processed? Or call the provider and have them process through the preferred insurance?

I'm happy to be back!!!
Glad I'm not alone! I feel a little guilty being so happy to be back at work but oh well. The boys are happy and healthy - that's the important thing.
