I'm doing alright. Cramping has eased up a lot thanks to the antibiotics. I am feeling like I need to get more active and start working out again, but I'm a little afraid that it will cause the cramping to start up again. I think I may try and go tomorrow, just take it slowly and see how it goes from there.
Its stupid, but I weighed myself this morning and had a bit of a panic because I suddenly went up almost 4 pounds. That seems excessive. But I gained a ton with DD and I do not want to do that again, because it caused a bunch of health issues. I don't really know how to curb that weight gain, other than going to the gym. I've been eating a lot of salads lately (that's what I've been craving), so I don't feel like it has a lot to do with what I'm eating. It really doesn't help that for the last two years I've steadily gained weight thanks to the stress of infertility and miscarriages.... so I wasn't in a happy place with my body already. Watching the number go up is stressing me out.

Hugs. In the 6 or so months before I got pregnant I worked my butt off to lose 30 pounds, so seeing the scale climb is hard even though I know it has to. I gained 35 with DS (after losing 10 in first tri so net 25 pounds) but honestly a week after he was born I was 20 pounds lighter. That is how much of the weight was from baby and water/amniotic fluid/blood volume.
I am going to try to get more walks in once the weather turns around because I am cancelling my personal trainer mid April
4 pounds that come on suddenly could be partially due to water retention, maybe from the abx.
juliayadda I gained over 50lbs with DD. I also ate like crap. I lost 20 when I had her, and then I ended up losing about 40 over the following year. I was in great shape! But that was 7 years ago. I started researching online and looking at Pinterest for ways to curb weight gain while pregnant. I've never been overweight, but I was definitely at my highest when I got KU this time around. I hate being so focused on it, but it's hard not to!!
