Speaking of morning...I told dh all I want was a full night sleep. I woke up on.my.own. at 6am. It was incredible. Fun things happen when I've slept all night, that's all I'm gonna say.
I'd like to know exactly why when both kids started STTN, my sleep went to crap. On the bright side, M has STTN every night for over a week.
crimsonandclover that's amazing! I've struggled with losing weight since having S. Before that, I could start walking slightly more often and the fat would just poof. I miss that lol. After I get a job, I plan to get a gym membership again. The biggest issue is my eating habits though. I fail at sticking to healthy eating, and it's partly because H refuses to get on board. So he buys chips, so I want chips, and my healthy snacks get ignored.
kcrkcs you know where this little boob monster wants to be all of a sudden? With her sister. As in she wants the 5 yo to hold her and carry her everywhere. Dh tried calming her the other day and she screamed. Dd1 picks her up, insta-calm. Smh.
L is the same with one of my younger students. Just absolutely adores her. Makes me a little sad that she won't be getting a sibling.

We have a similar problem, so what I do is buy chips that he likes and I don't. It makes it easier for me. Or I buy gummy bears, which he loves and I don't. And when I make meals, I put about 2 extra servings of veggies on my plate and less of everything else. I also got a walking desk (standing desk with a treadmill underneath), so almost every morning I get in 2.5-3 hours of walking - it's a very slow pace, but that's 3 hours (7.5-9 km bc I set it to 3km/hr) that I would otherwise be sitting at my desk. The combination is definitely making a difference. Who would have thought?
crimsonandclover I might try only buying stuff he likes. I don't like treadmills, I feel like I'm going to trip when I'm on them. One thing I am doing really well with is drinking really water. I downloaded an app that reminds me to drink, and I only let myself have water until I've reached my goal for the day, except occasionally coffee. So at least there's that.

I went to Target for an entry mat.
I walked out with one of almost every basic from the Cat and Jack summer line. Here's hoping this kid stays in 18 month clothes at least through part of the summer.
I need my wheels! That walk was a bitch today. And I have to do it again in a couple of hours 😭. The sidewalks were almost as bad as the field, but not snowy enough for the sled. Plus it's warm enough that I was overheating by the time I got home.
They want to limit rental terms to 6-12mo, but they are saying this is to develop a sense of community.
That makes zero sense. We've lived in our place for almost a year and I've spoken to our neighbours twice. I would think a longer term would make more sense

Oh.My.Goodness.
DD2 has been possessed. Today as a special treat I took her to the playground while DD1 was in her early intervention group. DD3 was still sleeping when I picked them up, so I thought - awesome, it'll be some one-on-one time with DD2! - and then we'd go pick DD3 up after the group.
DD2 and I went to the playground and had fun, and then we went and got DD1. All pretty much fine up until then except for a small fuss about not being able to finish her chocolate muffin when it was time to get DD1. Anyway, we got DD1 and then I told DD2 to get her shoes and put them on. Her response:
Me:
She then proceeded to scream, "MAMA! GO AWAY! MAMA! GO AWAY!" for about 10 minutes straight while we walked to the car and I put her in her car seat. DD1 was trying logic: "DD2, where should Mama go? She's driving the car." Big surprise: logic does not work with a tantruming 4-year-old. We got to daycare, and we went inside to pick up DD3. All of a sudden DD2 was like:
And me:
We got DD3, went back out to the car, and when I went to put her in, DD2 fought me at every turn so I had to forceably hold her in her car seat to get her buckled in while she was all:
And then one of the preschool teachers walked by and she immediately stopped screaming and again was all like:
He walked around the corner and she went:
Me:
And the saga is actually continuing, but I've got to get the kiddos under control now, so I'm done with the post. Anyone looking for a 4-year-old on loan for a bit? Apparently she's awesome if someone else is around.
My friend who usually comes over today just called. Her baby climbed out of the crib and landed on her face. So they probably aren't coming. I think she's ok, but they're probably going to take her in to see a doctor just to be sure.

Someone bought a fucking commercial van by applying for a loan in my husbands name. They have a DL with his name. The bill came our house. Our HOUSE. They are on the other side of the country. I can't even.
Friday! We had just one wake up last night. Again, I couldn't get back to sleep. Oy. Any plans for st Patrick's day? We are having a play date at the neighbors and making green play dough. I've done a few crafts with the kids this week. My house needs cleaning. There is stuff everywhere, but I'm not feeling it. I also need to set up fraud alerts and Id theft warnings. Fun times at the cooks house!
kelltothekell Your poor DD. Maybe the teacher just didn't see it right when it happened? I am surprised you didn't get an incident report. I've received 2 so far. Both were actually because he scratched himself back when his eczema was worse.

I booked a condo for a week on the beach in South Carolina for July. I have an extensive Amazon wishlist of beach and pool things already compiled. I will admit I'm nervous about the drive. It's almost 15 hours. We are already planning on doing the majority of the driving at night. Basically get him ready for bed and just putting him right in his carseat and head off.
DD got scratched by another kid yesterday at daycare. Big scratches across her face. apparently there was a disagreement over a book. DH is upset because he wasn't told at pick-up and we didn't get any details. He wants to know if DD was taking a book away or if someone was trying to take a book away from DD. Sucks. I am working from home and i have so much to do and so little time. happy almost weekend!
I can understand him being upset for not mentioning how she got her face scratched, but I don't see how it makes a difference who was trying to take the book away. At this age sharing is a concept that is far, far away. It's generally grab and shriek as far as I can tell.
When the toys come out at library story time it's a dog eat dog world. Ha.
I am bouncing off the walls right now. The guy from the dealership forwarded the last document to the bank, and now we're just waiting to hear back from them. I can't sit still. I'm willing the phone to ring.

My head is about to explode over the budget. Trump's, that is, not mine.
DD3 is kind of sick. I'm not quite sure what's going on with her. And DD2 is being extremely defiant, so I have no clue what's going on with her, either.
