I am helping throw a bachelorette party next weekend and need some inspiration! The bride just wants it to be a pretty chill night in, we are using our friend's house. Does anyone have any games or ideas that turned out fun or cute?

I'm against themed games, but Monikers is a great game for groups!

This is more of a bridal shower thing, but with some slight alterations it could be turned into a drinking game and/or made dirtier My sister and I did this for each other - we had a list of like 20 questions that we asked the groom (his favorite movie, his dream vacation, what he liked best about the bride, etc.) and then the bride had to guess his answers for each question. For the bridal shower we made the bride put a marshmallow in her mouth for each wrong answer, and before it started all the guests guessed how many she would get wrong (winner got a prize).
I also had a pretty low-key bachelorette, and one of my friends at dinner had everyone go around and give a little toast, usually telling a funny story about me or how we met or something similar - it was really nice

+1 Monikers. I have not found a group of people that DOES NOT want to play a second game after the first. I've played with people much younger and much older than me, with opposing philosophical or ideological stances.
It's an awesome game. DOUBLE awesome at icebreaking.
OMG you guys, DST sucks. DD did not fall asleep until after midnight last night, and after that I was so wound up I didn't fall asleep until 3:30. Getting up this morning was absolute hell.
@led Rama I've never heard of that before! Will investigate! People on Amazon are saying it's the best!
it really is. It's the best part of party games but better.
Always on the lookout for fun games, and the Amazon reviews do look really good. We're going on vacation with DH's family in May, and I think this may just be falling into my Amazon cart.

You gaiz. I have seriously bought at least 4 copies of this game to play and give as gifts. And that's not counting friends that have already bought Monikers because they were so in love with it after the first time we played. I am responsible for probably at least a full case's worth of purchases of this game.

The word inappropriate is in the Amazon description. Like how much inappropriate? This is not a problem for me, but none of our irl game people would be down with very much impropriety.
Things being moved around in our office today including my desk area and I'm not liking the change. So it was crazy here at work today.
And it snowed and the DST is screwing everyone up and due to those two things I was late to work this morning because roads weren't great even with trying to leave early....

It depends on the people and the cards, to be honest. A lot of the fun of the game is the inside joke potential. So, that can get inappropriate, but only if you're with the kind of people that tend to be inappropriate anyway.

Today was super nice. A friend I haven't seen in awhile came for a visit this morning and we had a nice long day. Super great. Now I'm putting the boys to bed so H can watch TWD.
