I think I want to learn the cello. I played flute in middle school and was 1st or 2nd chair, but TBH the instructor who came in 8th grade killed the joy for me and I didn't go on into HS. He asked me in class one day if I planned to play in HS. I will never forget the conversation:
Me: No, I'm not going to play anymore. Him: I'm sorry to hear that you're resorting to a life of crime. Me: **blank stare** Him: You're robbing the community of your talent. I'm disappointed in you. Me:...okay.
This made me cringe. I bet he thought he was hilarious.
cheshie6 definitely on the musical instruments. I actually want to learn to play something and was thinking when W gets a little older he and I can do something together.
Suzuki method asks parents to learn to help out at home as well as to make sure it's fun for your LO! Learning was my plan too.
I taught myself how to play Old McDonald on M's xylophone...totally counts, right.
Sure hope so because my musical career was very much over for me when I had to pretend play my way through the flutophone concert in fourth grade.
Checking in late today. DS had a follow up appt with the ENT to check ear tubes. 45 mins of waiting and only a 20 min nap, surgeon spent 30 seconds looking at his ears, spoiler, they are totally fine. E rolled over last night from back to tummy for the first time! So she can now go both ways! Love seeing her do these firsts, but please slow down little lady!
Happy birthday to your little jubilantsquirrel!! Hope he had a great day!
Yay for heat sophiegrace!! Props to that 17 year old kid! School clearly can't teach you everything!
Now to watch This is Us! I have a feeling I'm going to need a box of Kleenex for this one!

Hey @sarahwithanh just checking in on you and Monty. I hope he's doing better and you were able to catch up on your sleep with your husband able to share hospital duty.
ClassyMrsA what a beautiful view!! Are you with children? Have an amazing time!
Yes. Children, but also 2 of the 3 sets of grandparents. We're renting a house and DH and I have the master with a private 3rd floor deck. We have both kids in our room, too, but it's worth the view.

@sarahwithanh FX That Monty continues doing well with the feeding and breathing. Hopefully the doctors don't force you to discharge if you don't feel ready. And wow, a tooth! That's crazy.
