Well, crap nap and my kid still hates being in snow. Sigh. She cheered up a little and then she fell face first into a puddle of melted icy snow in the street. So that was the end of that.
It's 35% of all musical content between 6 am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
Seriously? Who regulates that? And why?
The CRTC!
"The primary objective — a cultural one — is to encourage increased exposure of Canadian musical performers, lyricists and composers to Canadian audiences.
The secondary objective — an industrial one — is to strengthen the Canadian music industry, including both the creative and production components."
So at dinner tonight M farted. DH asked her if she tooted and she said yeah. Then she said "mommy toots", in the tone of one revealing a deep and serious secret. We were dying 😂

Another Chicagoan here, my school was called off so I'm home with dd for the day. Random thought inspired by the red line train last night. Did we ever hear about the period underwear from whoever it was that was trying them. elephantastic maybe?
That was me. 😳 I love them. They're awesome. What can I tell you?
Stealing this idea. Thank you! And I'd love to meet up while you're here, hopefully we can work something out (unless you were just staring that you'd be in town as a matter of fact, in which case I will just slink into the corner...)

So I should get some, I like to have a recommendation. Sorry for the awkward period questions. I changed my name and now I mostly lurk in the blinds thread

CatLady It's all radio stations. There are also rules for Canadian content in television broadcasts as well.
These rules were created in response to the notion that Canadian culture was being impacted/lost as a result of our high level of exposure to American culture through radio, television and film. And it may seem strange to regulate this but it was and is a legitimate concern.
There are studies that show that Canadian vernacular, phrasing, speech patterns and even tone have been affected by the exposure that we have to American culture. Canadians in the last two generations before mine for example, will use entirely different words, pronunciation and phrasing when speaking.

I know you! I don't mind. I really do like them. The company seems to stand behind their product. I bought a few pairs in a couple styles and I didn't like the fit of one of them. They refunded my money and told me to keep them anyway and I bought more of the styles I liked.

I just worry y'all are like who's this lady! I'm glad you like them, I may have to order some. Anything to make my period less of a hassle!
