Snowing like crazy over here. Work was cancelled yesterday already. Watching curious George with DS and waiting for H to wake up. I bought delicious bagels and bacon to make egg sandwiches with yesterday. Also on the menu: potato skins and steak for dinner.
We were supposed to get 6-12 inches of snow. People were going and stocking up on things like they were gonna be holed up for days. We officially have 0 inches. I'm actually a little disappointed. As much as I'm ready for spring, I was thinking we would have a snow day with a movie marathon.
I'm so jealous of those of you who get snow. We haven't even gotten an inch total this year. We got a little Saturday night, but it was all melted by 10 Sunday morning. I genuinely love snow in addition to loving getting out of school
I finally felt some strong outside movement this morning! It was so great! I almost woke up H but I figured then baby would start being stubborn and stop moving.
I have been feeling so much movement that it's not even fun anymore. Sometimes it's like he stretches out, and it's a prolonged poke from the inside. It's super uncomfortable.
Everyone keeps asking me about names and I'm completely clueless. I'm ready to start asking total strangers to name this kid for me.

I'm in the same boat when it comes to names. And we're not finding out the sex so we have to come up with girl and boy names. I want to go in with a short list. DH thinks we will have the baby and the right name will just come to us. 😫

Snowed in with DH all day!!! Trying to think up some affordable babymoon destinations/ideas. We just want to do a relaxing long weekend away. We're also not really looking to travel too far. Any tips for anywhere close-ish to CT?
We were also forecasted to get a bunch of snow. All we got was about an inch of sleet. They called off work anyway. Thank goodness. I could have driven in today but I just didn't want to. So I made pancakes. And then I felt like I was going to pass out, so I took a 2 hour nap at 9am. Quite the day so far!
All you people and your snow days makes me a little jealous! I want dh home all day! but I'm soooooo ready for nice weather that I'll manage without the snow. Our winter is stretching on and on over here in the nw. Haven't seen the sun in too long.

I was so out of it after DS was born. If that was our plan, I probably would have named him Popeye or something.
We're in Florida on vacation. It's like 62 degrees though
We're taking DD to Magic Kingdom on Thursday. I'm so excited.
I think our day at Magic Kingdom was the best day we've ever had as a family. Everything just seemed to go perfect. My DH normally acts horribly in large crowds and he had a great time.

I spent much of yesterday afternoon thinking about this same thing. Unfortunately I came up with nothing, so I'm no help. Plus I'm in the Midwest, so probably looking at different locations than you for weekend trips.

OBX? Is that close-ish to you??
Not quite...if we did that we'd have to spend more than a couple days it's about 8-9 hours by car. I was thinking maybe somewhere like D.C. or a beach in New Jersey (3ish hours) or Maryland (5ish hours). Then again I think I'd rather find a resort with a babymoon package closer and spend slightly more than go further so I'm trying to research those too!!
I had totally forgotten it was pi day until my wedding board mentioned it. We have an event at school until 7, but I'm totally going to make a smores pie when I get home...

All of you are all snowed in and nola1017 and I are over here thinking oh no winter has come again (it's almost 60 today!) Downright freezing lol.
Ds2 had his first dentist visit this morning. It's the earliest my kids have gone in. The other 2 were both 3 before they went. He had what I thought was a cavity. Turned out it was staining due to his liquid vitamins. I was so happy.
I carry my babies very low and the last 2 I've had anterior placentas. With that being said the majority of the movements I feel are in my neither regions. I kid you not by the end of my pregnancies I will be feeling like the baby is going to kick it's way out.

+1 I get kicked in the bladder and vag constantly. This one also likes to push/tickle my hip bones. I'm sure that won't still be a happy fun thing once she gets a bit stronger...

Yes to all of this. It's already getting uncomfortable at times. I was up for an hour from 3-4am because of him kicking me in the bladder/crotch.
