I'm off per governor's orders. DH's job closed for the first time in forever. DS's daycare is obviously closed..
They're calling for 2 feet and we have a blizzard warning. At least DS let me sleep in today?
My dog hasn't gotten me out of bed yet and I don't have to answer my phone until 10am lol. Did you see the building that houses my office actually closed??? I was shocked.
Ours looks like it's going to be not so bad here...8-10" and then rain. Maybe some crazy wind. MH's office is open so he's going in for a bit (nothing is really coming down yet). I'm obviously going nowhere. I just hope we keep power with the wind!
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
I'm at work. Snow has started here but it's not heavy yet. We have a blizzard warning but it's not supposed to get bad until the afternoon so I'll probably be here at least half the day.

I hope everyone dealing with the snow storm is careful today! It's a little cooler here in FL than it has been so I'm actually enjoying it. Our winter has been ridiculously warm this year and I'm not a fan.
I'm officially at the large and uncomfortable stage now. I got out of breath getting dressed this morning and contemplated asking H to put my shoes on for me because they're not slip on and actually require me to bend down to zip them. Oh how I wish I could live in yoga pants and t-shirts for the next 7 weeks.
We're getting lake effect snow here today. Up to 10" in certain places, which they can't predict because that's lake effect snow for you. So we'll get an inch or two or a ton.
I slept well last night, which I needed, but I'm dragging this morning. Not looking forward to a meeting I called with the analyst team to talk about all the madness (in particular the lead throwing us under the bus with leadership).
H's accountant actually finished his business tax a month early, although not without much frustration. Maybe I'll work on ours this weekend and see what the damage is. I did set up a meeting with another accountant after tax season so hopefully we'll be better off next year.

I am really getting sick of the stairs. I hate being winded. I am happy to work from home today in leggings and a tank top. I might not even shower.

I hate snow. Esp when I got spoiled with warmer temps. And I fail at snow proofing my kid. No boots and no snow pants. I got him to wear mittens only for him to take them off in the car.
I hope everyone getting snow stays safe and warm today!
I think I'm going to call my doula today and see if I can push up my first appointment or make a counseling appointment with her (she's also a certified therapist) and see if I can get this anxiety under control.
Waited for the bus and realized it was never going to come (tracker kept saying 7 or 8 minutes, liar). Roads are a mess. They usually are good about clearing them but decided for the one real snow this winter to slack off.

I know the counties are declaring state of emergencies to keep people off the roads. I'm still hearing sirens every 10-15 minutes though.
Did you see earlier that the center of the storm is coming right at us? It appears the storm didn't want to stay on the coast as they were predicting 😤
I think I'm nesting. I'm throwing away so many of DDs toys in the playroom. I feel like I'm constantly cleaning up all these toys that she doesn't play with, just throws around.
By throw away, I mean stack up in our guest room out of sight because that's about all I can handle.
