School was cancelled early yesterday, and boy are they going to regret it since it's not anything close to what was expected. But yay for sleeping in on a Tuesday!
We had our snow yesterday, but probably only about 4", so only enough to be annoying, not actually close anything. Just a normal Tuesday here. DS was still sleeping when I left, which is a rarity. It felt really weird going out the door and not getting a hug and a kiss from him.

I had a nightmare that my H rearranged our kitchen cabinets. In my dream, I also created a poll on here about it, lol. I think IRL he knows better than that though.
We have a snow day here. We have close to 8 inches. O fell off our bed last night and is being weird about his right arm. He won't raise it above his shoulder. It doesn't seem to hurt if we manipulate it though. We can't go anywhere because nothing is plowed yet. We'll keep an eye on it and decide what to do this afternoon when the road is hopefully plowed. Bonus-our neighbor just snowblowed our driveway!!
We have like 1.5in, nothing to write home about. I'm wearing my LLR leggings (thanks mirage86!!) with a dress today and I am so damn comfy!
You are so welcome, I'm glad you scored that pair!
You guys, I want to come back here but my life is literally only LLR and crazy toddler. I feel like that posting content would either be boring or annoying to everyone. Is it?
Hope everyone is enjoying their snow days! Clearly we don't get those here, it's supposed to be 78 degrees today and was mid 80s yesterday.
I didn't think I'd be coming into work today since my sister was having contractions last night. But no call overnight so here I am. She just texted that she's at the hospital right now though so hopefully I'll be leaving here and meeting my nephew today!
Last night Elena of Avalor came on. LO comes bursting into the room "Look!! Yayna!" Then he sang along with the song "Yayyyyna, Yayyyyna" and promptly left when the opening song was over.
A lot less snow than expected, and im sure not complaining. We haven't gone outside or watched the news but its probably 3" or less. FX daycare opens on time tomorrow because my day is going to be jam packed.
Being lazy this morning. H is out of town for work until Thursday. Going to a playgroup at 930 with the kids. The free coffee and snacks are calling me.

Snow day here too. Surprised my office closed today but we barely have 5 or 6 inches of snow. It does look like a windy frozen mess but not what was predicted.
Putting together an IKEA kids table for M today is about all that's on the agenda.

.
Sigh, we don't either. Nothing shuts down for anything here. One time in 2007 there was a massive blizzard that we got to leave work a couple hours early from and it was like the first time the city shut down like that, so 10 years since I've seen anything close to a snow day! But we are also in an area less likely to see several feet at a time, we get hit with mega cold instead. Pretty much, the opposite situation as to why we don't get snow days baha!
Hope everyone that's home is warm and cozy and anyone who needs to go out stays safe!
It's supposed to be the "answer" to Valentine's Day under the theory that Valentine's Day is a made up holiday for women on 2/14. So 3/14 is a made up holiday for men.
Women want chocolate and roses. Men want steak and bjs.
Got a call from my mom that DS was acting out, kept waking LO up from his nap and bent her glasses on purpose. Ugh. I tried talking to him and reminding him what a good night he had yesterday but he wasn't listening, he was just running away from the phone and laughing. I guess he finally calmed down and is doing ok now. But seriously kid. WTF.

I had to drag my screaming insane 3 year old to the car today at preschool drop off. I've never seen her so crazy.
She wouldn't put on her shoes, take off her coat, or do a thing besides yell... So we skipped school and went home. Worst of all were all of the judgemental mom eyes watching us.

Hugs. I bet you're misreading. I bet they weren't judging as much as commiserating. And thanking whatever diety that the believe in that today wasn't that day for them.
