We are house bound today with a few inches and then a bunch of freezing rain on top. It's enough to shut everything down here. I gave the kid some tubs of snow and a bunch of kitchen utensils so she's happy.

We just got an inch or so, not much. Roads were a little slick this morning but not too bad. I just hope it all melts before I have to drive to Omaha for class. If not, it is going to be a long drive.
We got our snow yesterday so roads were much better last night and even better this morning. A couple spots were icy (but you could see the ice!) so not bad at all.

I got a thing is amaretto creamer this weekend and i just had first cup. Mmmm. So good. I can't decide on a go to favorite flavor lately, but this one's up there.

Yum, that sounds so good!
Aldi had coconut last week so I tried that. It's so good. Depressing though when you see it is not coconut weather haha!

Y'all, I downloaded the app Hitlist and now I'm in trouble. It shows all travel deals based on location, and right now there are flights to Madrid from my city for just $500! Pretty good compared to other flights to Europe. We can't swing anything like that this year but I'm starting to plot for next year lol.

I feel like I have fluid in my ear or something and is annoying-not sore per se but annoying. I hope I'm not getting an ear infection while I still am getting over the last of a cold.

My dogs are driving me crazy though. They definitely want to go out and burn some energy, but once they get out they want to come right back in.
My dog is not having any of this snow and he usually loves it. I even dug him a hole and he still wouldn't leave the porch. It was a pathetic hole, about the size of a chihuahua, so I don't blame him.

My lab just decided to embrace his inner polar bear and went off having fun in the snow and wouldn't come back (yanked the leash right out of my hand). Yard is fenced in so go for it dude.
Approximately three minutes later I got a phone call from my neighbor, did I know my dog was out? If I did, don't I know it's snowing? (Nope, didn't notice that 🙄) am I going to bring him back in?
Well sure, once he comes back to the house. I'm not going to go out and try to drag a hundred pound unwilling dog back inside. 🤷♀️

Wow, that's so interesting! When I had a chi, she would have nothing to do with snow. She'd look miserable and do acrobatics to walk on just two paws with the other two in the air as long as possible lol. Poor pups!

The boys slept in this morning which was super nice but I'm also now an hour behind on everything. Now DS2 is fighting napping. Also it rained and it's cool so no going outside for us. I hate it when I can't take them outside. Way too much energy.
The NE has all of our snow! March is supposed to be our heaviest month for snow, but it's been pretty dry so far. I don't mind being able to get outside more during the week, and I certainly like not having icy roads. But we pretty much missed our opportunity to ski or snowshoe this winter!

bonzo2012, I agree. Although we're not skiers, DH and I got snowshoes for Christmas and got to use them a little bit in January. We absolutely loved it, and then the snow stopped. While I certainly don't want to massive amounts the NE is getting, I'd like a bit more before spring arrives for good.

He's that way in the rain but he usually has a blast in the snow. I guess we all have our limits 😄

I just noticed I don't have mayonnaise to make tuna salad. What's something easy I can do with a can of tuna? And I don't like warm tuna. Too many tuna melts in college ruined it for me.

You wouldn't happen to have avocado, would you? Or make mayo with oil and egg yolk?
