I just noticed I don't have mayonnaise to make tuna salad. What's something easy I can do with a can of tuna? And I don't like warm tuna. Too many tuna melts in college ruined it for me.
You wouldn't happen to have avocado, would you? Or make mayo with oil and egg yolk?
I have half an avocado if I stop eating the one I have on my plate. Lol. Making Mayo isn't worth it. I need easy/quick. Ridley is too clingy and in my business.
I've been getting so irritated/angry at h lately and I hate it. It's so petty but it's like I can't help it. So we're getting a babysitter and going on a date night this weekend and I'm excited to reconnect. I wish we could both go off our meds for a while and just fuck it out, but that's not happening. Because we're both on psych meds neither of us has even a slight sex drive anymore and it sucks at moments like this. Though I guess at least we're both on the same page. Lol

I'm wondering if H will need to work over tonight. I mean I know he's going to go back in, I'm just wondering if his boss is going to make him stay right through.
It would be sad that he needs to work that long but it's also sort of relaxing to have the house to myslef 😅

I have had it with my husband's job, i've had it with these damn 10hr days, I've had it with dumb hospital billing offices, I've had it with crying/cranky children and going off of sugar is a real pain in the ass.
I need to come up with something to do with DH this weekend - it's our first weekend just the two of us in a looooong time. It's kind of sad that I can't just think up something to do.
The NE has all of our snow! March is supposed to be our heaviest month for snow, but it's been pretty dry so far. I don't mind being able to get outside more during the week, and I certainly like not having icy roads. But we pretty much missed our opportunity to ski or snowshoe this winter!
bonzo2012 , I agree. Although we're not skiers, DH and I got snowshoes for Christmas and got to use them a little bit in January. We absolutely loved it, and then the snow stopped. While I certainly don't want to massive amounts the NE is getting, I'd like a bit more before spring arrives for good.
I've actually never skied, but we had decided that after living here for 2 years it was time to try it. Nope, never happened! Maybe next winter will be the year.
We love snowshoeing though, it's so much fun and so simple. We got our own pairs last spring when they went on sale at REI, and haven't gotten to use them since. At least that's something where I know they'll last for years and years to come!
Enjoy your date night, @led! I hear you on the meds thing, H is on Concerta and Zoloft, both of which lower his drive. It can be frustrating, but it's definitely better to be on the meds if you need them.

I really wanted to order pizza tonight but I really can't justify expecting a poor delivery guy to deal with the snow (since the only place that delivers is still open) and I don't want to go out and get it lol

Ugh what a crappy day!
It got worse and then better, he ended up working 12hrs but he was here for bedtime so I am getting some peace right now while he puts the boys to bed.

I went to Trader Joe's just to get cheese for homemade mac and cheese and OMG did it turn out good. Hitting the spot so hard right now in the cold weather.

Eating a pint of Halo Top and watching How to Get Away From Murder.
I had to go to work today but luckily was able to get out a little early which thank god because there was already a foot down when I left at 330. It took 2 hours to get home but thankfully I already took tomorrow off (weeks ago, feels like divine intervention lol) so I at least get to watch the snow from the coziness of the indoors! It is still coming down.

Blerg for winter commutes!!! Tell me about Halo Top... I've been seeing it around in our grocery stores (finally) and wonder if it's any good.

I am obsessed with it. I have tried cookie dough, PB cup, caramel, and birthday cake. They were all good! Also let's be real I eat the entire pint in one sitting. I have a pint night every week lol.
