So I've had latching issues and my nips were bleeding and I still had to nurse. There was a few times baby looked like a zombie when she spit up and there was blood 😶 freaked out DH
Additionally... my belly button is still horrifying. My whole belly actually is kind of scary. Doesn't stop DS from lifting up my shirt and happily saying, "mama belly!" Lol
Varicose veins continue to be so gross. Everything is so swollen it feels like I've already given birth and/or my vag has had enough of this and is just trying to pack up and leave. Just reminding myself that whether this baby is early, on time, or late, this time next month I will be well on my way (hopefully) to healed postpartum!

My bleeding was very light when I left the hospital. It's gotten heavier since being home and I feel disgusting.
Thankfully I've pooped every day since Thursday, including Thursday before she was born. I have not pooped today despite the 2 stool softeners and bowl of oatmeal.
DS2's cord stump fell off several days ago. I offered it to my dog, since I'm pretty sure she ate DS1's when that fell off (I never saw it anywhere, it just disappeared when he was 1 1/2 weeks old, so who knows...), but she wouldn't eat it. I then felt like a huge weirdo for offering it to her. 😳
My mom kept my umbilical cord stump taped in a photo album because she is the type of parent that kept literally everything, even the garbage. My younger sister was playing with the photo albums, about 18 months at the time, and she found the stump.
I think T is super super low. Every time I move a certain way my vag is in pain. I felt around and it's super swollen. Not really that bad of a TMI but MH is very concerned every time I move.
I think my bowels are breathing a week long sigh of relief now that they are no longer crushed/displaced. Ever since my first PP poop, I have been poopin like clockwork every day and in sizeable amounts. As someone who usually only goes every 2nd or 3rd day at best, this is madness!
Also, I am getting some night sweats and the BO is coming in strong. I remember being much stinkier last time though.

britabugaqueencity I just switched to panty liners this weekend, so about 4 weeks PP. I had several days where I'd have basically nothing, and then BOOM, so I kept the heavy pads until I had I think two or three days in a row of no huge surprises. So far, so good with a liner.

Max was very spitty yesterday and got me good three different times. I never changed my shirt and then slept in it. No brain power to pick out a different night shit.
When we did our newborn pictures, the photographer told us to take off our socks/shoes and sit on the bed to make family pictures look all relaxed and whatnot. I haven't maintained foot care or grooming recently so I'm sure it was all my toe hair captured in high def
I was under the impression that my breast weren't leaking while drying up and I had been showering with my bra on cause of my mastitis fears.
I was wrong. That bra was absolutely disgusting.
Related confession: I thought the same thing so I left the same boob pads in my bra for 2 days. Mostly I just forgot about them. I just took a much needed shower and the pads were basically rock hard when I took them out. Ew.
I'm embarrassed about this, but after cosmicav's spoilered one I'll share. Don't judge.
When I got home I peed and when I wiped I saw brown. I got confused/concerned thinking it was old blood, so I wiped again and discovered nope, it was coming from somewhere else. I've been going to the bathroom all day and didn't see/notice this so I'm now wondering if I'm dealing with some slight bowel incontinence #glamorous. Cue coffee break, poop, and shower. Now I'm feeling fresh.
@priss08 and obi can you explain the boob pads/bra in the shower? I've never heard of this.
I should clarify, I took the pads out of my bra and removed my bra before the shower. I seem to have dried up really quickly again, aside from a bit of leaking.
Wearing the bra in the shower is just an extra cautious step to help dry up. Keeping your breasts snug in a tighter fitting bra helps stop your milk production. I assume wearing it in the shower is to help counteract the good-for-milk effects of warm water. Correct me if I'm wrong, priss!

OH that makes so much more sense. I thought your pads got hard IN the shower and I was so confused.
Yes, when I was trying to dry up last time after my loss I learned to avoid putting my chest under the warm shower water. Didn't think about wearing a bra - that makes sense!

I wasn't getting the bra wet I was just scared (until this morning) to take of because I'm scared of getting mastitis. Maybe it was overkill but...i was scared to take it of till they hurting.
