Me: 32, Wife: 38, Together for 5 years, Married for 2 years IUI #1 (8/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Crinone = BFN IUI #2 (9/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Endometrin = BFP!! EDD 5/26/17
1. 35 weeks tomorrow!!! I can not believe we are about a month away.
2. We had an appointment yesterday and my BP was up more than usual, and I had some protein in my urine.. so off I went for a bunch of blood work, more pee and they even did an ECG because I mentioned my palpitations. Though that's normal for me since I had open heart surgery 12 years ago for a heart defect that was found when I was 25, though I was born with a silver dollar sized hole in my heart...
3. Also, i almost passed out twice at work before the appointment. Which is likely why I had all the issues. It was way too hot in the meeting room and it knocked me on my butt... literally. I sat on the floor in the meeting room and then when I got back to my office I was laying on the floor till I felt better...
4. My Dr told me she wanted me off for the week, and when I took the Dr's note to my NP on base, since everything has to go through the military too for time off... she gave me 10 days off and said she wanted to seem me again Thurs next week and see how I'm feeling..
5. I could be off work till the baby arrives.. I was even given a blood pressure machine to check twice a day. My NP on base doesn't want me to have any issues because she was with us through everything that happened with Baby Girl. So she wants us to get through this pregnancy with zero issues, or at least catch something right away... Especially since we don't have a NICU here and would have to wait 3 hours for a medivac to get us to Edmonton which is the closest NICU if something happened...
6. I love my NP on base, and I don't know why so many people say they have issues with her. She's amazing!!
7. I felt good today, was just bored!!!! I would rather be at work... though I did nap for a good two hours this afternoon, so that was nice.
8. Our friends are throwing us a baby shower next weekend, so that's very exciting. Once that's done, we will have a better idea of what else needs to be purchased.
9. My Mom is coming here on 12 April, and my Mother in law is arriving on 15 April. Super happy to have them there and the help. I've never raised a child, don't even think I've changed a diaper!! But at the same time, I'm a little anxious and hope that I don't get overwhelmed.. I know Jo's mom means well, but I don't want her stepping in and taking over with things. She tends to do that. This is our child and I want us to be the first to do/try everything. I don't want anyone stepping in unless we ask.. you know? Although.. I am a stubborn person and when I have an idea, or a way that I want to do something, I can be very head strong about it... which Jo's mom knows very well, we are kind of the same in a way.. so I'm sure she will step back and allow me to do my thing and help when asked... Jo told me her mom was super worried about coming here because she knows I like things a certain way and doesn't want to step on my toes. lol It's funny that I kind of intimidate my MIL?
10. All in all, I won't be too stubborn and will accept the help if I can't figure something out. All in all, we don't know what We're doing.. and I/we will have to get to know our son to understand how he operates too. So it's going to be interesting. I just want to be a good mom, that's all. I want to raise a happy, healthy, well rounded child. That's all I care about. I am worried about being a good mom... I always thought I would ruin a child, but that was always before I knew who I was myself, so things have changed a lot.
1. We had our first (and last) snow day of this winter yesterday.
2. I love snow days now. The kids can go out and play with the neighbors and entertain themselves for hours.
3. Of course, I didn't get any of the things I said I would get done. I did manage 1 load of laundry and shoveled the icy/slushy mess off the driveway.
4. The kids had a 2 hr delay this morning and were up 30m earlier than I would wake them for a normal school day. Silly kids.
5. But we were able to have a leisurely morning, which was wonderful.
6. March has been insane. I just scheduled my urology appt for the 3rd time. I was supposed to go this morning, but rescheduled due to the 2 hr delay and then I just had to reschedule again because it was at the same time as a meeting that I HAVE to go to.
7. I thought the kidney stone was gone, but the pain made a reappearance yesterday and today. Blech.
8. I am trying to drink more water again. I was doing really well last week, but feel off the wagon over the weekend.
9. Anyone else listening to the "Where is Richard Simmons?" podcast. Oddly entertaining.
10. I should have done more around this house yesterday and this morning in anticipation of L coming home tomorrow. It isn't awful, but there are several things that need to be done - and of course we aren't going to be home until 8 tonight because of swim. Booo.

5. So hungry. Anyone having anything good for dinner? No idea what we're having.
6. This time change is kicking our asses.
7. Interview went well. Deciding how much they'd have to offer to make it worth the 1hr commute each way for two four hour shifts a week. Would definitely leave time for private practice though and mean not a lot of daycare costs.
8. Is anyone watching The Good Fight?
9. Grateful that H split overnight duties with me last night and worked from home today so I could be more rested for the interview.
10. I'll be happy to give my current workplace the big goodbye, no matter what the next step is.
