My mom is on a baking frenzy. She just dropped off more cookies and when she asked if I finished off the other ones I told her no, but we froze them. She was SHOCKED! She thought we would have eaten them all by now... she gave us probably 40 cookies like 4 days ago- how many cookies does she think we eat a day?? (Not complaining just funny)

I could easily eat 5+ hommade cookies during the day and more in the middle of night lol
So when is a good time for a pacifier? Does it affect breastfeeding is we are still not exclusively BFing? I thought someone told me I had to wait until 6 weeks.
I started looking into IUDs last night and I feel a thousand percent not excited for more vaginal invasiveness.
I took the BCP after having C and it made me feel terrible. I was on depo Provera prior to C and can't go back on it. I feel like the copper IUD is my only option. It seems like a perfectly good option but ugh.
Someone please tell me having it placed it isn't awful.
Ehhhhh...I wish I could tell you it wasn't awful... Many of my friends claimed it wasn't terrible, but I was in so much pain an hour or so afterwards that I thought I was going to pass out. I hear it is easier when you have it done soon after giving birth!

Honestly, I think some babies will take them and some won't. I know that my mom said she waited until we were nursing well. So if baby doesn't need much help latching it's probably ok.

I waited 4 days lol. I think it really just depends on the baby. If nursing is going well then I don't see the harm. If it's not or could use some work then it might be worth waiting. 6 weeks seems ridiculous though.

+1 to all of this! After a disastrous first night at home, I gave him a paci for night two. We got 3-4 hour intervals of sleep. But his patch was good, and he was feeding well. I wasn't concerned that it would affect it much at that point.

We gave one the first night. She took it for 6 months and we nursed for 18. Totally depends on the baby.

Oof, sorry that was your experience. My MIL said the same thing. I'll definitely be bringing advil along then.
