onesweetworld - So glad you're feeling better! Were you using a belly band with your pants? I'm doing that now and it would be amazing to go as long as you with my regular pants!

DS and I are meeting a friend and her kid at the zoo today. He's still asleep so I'm hoping he wakes up in the next 30 minutes because we need to leave in like an hour.

It's one of my WFH days. I plugged the power cord into my laptop and sat down to nurse DS. He just passed out in my arms, then I realize I never plugged the power cord into the wall. I refuse to wake him up to plug it in so I guess I'm getting a forced break in less than 45 minutes (unless he wakes up before it dies).
I feel really yucky this morning. Like sick to my stomach and having hot flashes. I had two bowls of Lucky Charms for breakfast. Maybe that was not a good idea.

If you're not already, I would sit down. Drink some water too.
I felt like that once and almost passed out. But felt fine after sitting down for a bit.
I had H take a look at the hand-me-down stroller and it looks like we'll need to replace one of the wheels, which costs $45. I don't love that we need to spend that much on an old stroller (plus the $50 for the car seat adapter) but it would still be cheaper than buying a new stroller, and it's probably a nicer stroller than we could afford, even if it's 10+ years old. But I hadn't planned on buying a stroller at all so I don't know. And I don't love how big it is.

Was sitting in my car...I actually feel a little bit better after getting out of the car and walking in the cold air for a minute. I'm going to try and drink a whole bottle of water before I have any of my coffee...hoping that might help.
I've been starting my day off with a healthy, high-protein breakfast, so sugary cereal probably wasn't a great choice.
Jimmy Buffett finally released a STL tour date for this year. July 6th. I'll be 38 weeks and some change.
Curious WWPD??
I think I already have my mind made up, but humor me. Would you go see (insert favorite band/artist here) at 38 weeks pregnant? Lawn seats. In St. Louis. In July.

I had been standing for too long, in a heavy jacket, in a warm office, holding heavy things. Totally different situation, but it's why I went right to suggesting you sit.
Sounds like the breakfast just didn't cut it. Glad you're starting to feel better.

I'm at work wearing no makeup because my eye is really itchy and I worry that I'm getting pink eye. I have been told I look tired by 3 people so far. Why don't people keep their mouths shut.

I would go if it was both local and there was minimal smoking going on. All my experiences with lawn seats include being in a cloud of sort or another and I personally wouldn't feel comfortable breathing that in while pregnant, but that's just me.
That said, I have Gaga tickets for when I'll be like 33 weeks pregnant, so maybe take my advice with a grain of salt, lol.

If it didn't require much travel, I would totally go.
I went to a Red Sox game at 36 weeks, including a mile walk to/from the stadium from where we parked, while super absurdly humid. I was definitely uncomfortable at times, but still had fun.
For a Jimmy Buffet concert, if it's doable at all I would totally go for it!! Worst case scenario you get closer and decide you're not up for it. Wouldn't think it would be that tough to resell JB tickets.

akraus2015 - I would go but same caveat as above: Have to find a spot away from smokers (that's a priority for me even not pregnant). Make sure you take plenty of water. They should allow it in if it's factory sealed, especially since you'll be so obviously pregnant.
One of my fave bands is coming here 3 weeks after my due date. Won't be making that one, though H offered to let me go and stay home with baby. Do not think I'll be up for it yet!

Yes, but I am also considering doing a half at 38 weeks...LOL...mainly because I did a half at 37 weeks with DS so I think it'd be fun to beat that.

No they were just a few sizes too big to begin with lol.
People forgot how to drive after two days off. They said there were two accidents but I didn't see either of them. West bound they were pushing the snow back.
