X Now I need to go look up 2nd night - that night was so awful for me. DH went home to sleep and the nurses pretty much left me alone in the room and DD cried and cried and cried and cried - I didn't ask for help from the nurses because I thought that I needed to figure it out myself. I so wish I had known this was a thing!!!!! X
I swear the second night is awful because baby is just starving. My milk didn't come in until way late because of the c section presumably, and she lost so much weight. Middle of day three (I think) we started supplementing and she fell asleep no problem and stopped the screaming. If I could do it all over again I would insist on starting the supplements immediately until my milk came in. Still breaks my heart that I was essentially starving my kid for so long. Good thing she was so big and had some wiggle room with weight loss.
That's hard! But it happens to the best of moms. From what I've read, it's such a crazy couple days in the hospital. I fully plan on bringing my own formula if my milk doesn't come in quickly, or I can't breastfeed for some reason.
I've read on here about how nurses are so judgemental about formula/supplementing. But I have no problem telling them to myob.

I got lucky that our hospital supplements with BM, not formula (you have a choice but they suggest BM, obviously). So they weren't judgemental about it at all, but they waited so long to offer! She had lost a whole pound by the time we started supplementing. And it was like night and day as soon as she got food. They also had me start pumping then and we were able to give her that, too. I remember the first time I was actually able to pump anything I was so excited I took a picture of it. Combined for that session it was less than half an ounce but I was so proud. Lol

Oh interesting. I'll have to ask if they have bm. I don't think where I live now is as progressive as you though.
Way behind and catching up, but I'm still WAYYY too uncomfortable with my pregnancy body to even take a photo of my naked belly without clothes, let alone post it for the public to see.
I almost feel like I should take one or two at some point for my pregnancy memory book, but I just can't bring myself to do it yet.
I definitely think later on I'll take a bare belly photo. But hell no to posting it on social media. I don't care how good I look, some things just don't need to be public.
I know a girl who posted one almost weekly on IG during her pregnancy. I mean, she looked great, but still...it would be like posting a bikini selfie every week for 20+ weeks. Weird.
For those who cloth diaper, how many wipes do I need for one baby? I've found some really cute ones with great reviews on Etsy, so want to add them to my registry. Thoughts?
I haven't started hoarding any yet, but I'd guess somewhere around the same amount of diapers you plan to have, to coordinate with wash days. I'm going to shoot for 40ish, since that's how many NB diapers I will have, then I'll just have extra wipes on hand when he isn't being changed every 2 hours anymore.

I just had the same thought. So I'll probably start with 36 (that's my goal for newborn diapers) and see how it works.

I got baby pink polish on my nails (so not normal for me) but I figured they would look better in my maternity photos than the dark purple I did last time.

You'll probably lose some too The dryer is a magical place.
DD REFUSES to sleep in our room. There were nights where it would've been so easy to just co-sleep with her, but she wasn't having it. I even tried to recreate the environment in our room. She would fuss and fuss until I would finally bring her back to her room. There, she would let out a sigh and fall right to sleep.
This is my dream though. I want him in my room, but in his out bassinet for 4-6 months tops. Then off he goes to his own space. I can not fathom having him sleeping in my actual bed.
I'm not judging women who co sleep, it's just not for me or MH. I need my own space.
Co-sleeping ultimately isn't for me, but there were time when I was desperate. I even moved her rock n play into my room and she wasn't having it.
In all honesty, I'm glad I don't have to transition her to her own room, but some nights.....

Fun fact from the Maytag man, the washer is usually the culprit of missing socks.
Although, I lost one sock about six months ago and was really mad because they are knee socks with ninjas on them my former project lead gave me as a birthday gift. I held onto the remaining one forever in case it showed up. When we re-did our floors, I found its friend against the wall under where my H's drawers are in our closet. No idea how it ended up on his side of the closet.
I just saw an article saying Amazon Prime now delivers alcohol. Oh yes.
So I like the idea of this but there is something so cathartic when I go into a liquor store and spend 30 minutes looking at different wines. It's my holy place.

Back from doc, small SCH seen on u/s is likely culprit of bleed. Babes looked good. Strong hbs and nothing alarming. So, that's a relief. Got a cute pic of them spooning, too...almost worth the stress of the day.
On my way home I stopped at target and bought maternity jeans that actually fit and were $30, win! I've been looking everywhere and couldn't find ones that fit and/or were long enough. These are super comfy. I know what I'm wearing tonight!
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

Glad all is well!!! Must share picture of cute babies!
I really like the maternity jeans I've purchased from motherhood. Never tried the target ones. I'm not purchasing anymore, so maybe I should just mail these to you since all I want to wear is yoga pants.
