Cleaning today. So far bathrooms and vacuuming are done, trash taken out, and laundry started. Still need to dust, then fold/put away laundry. I'm happy to be feeling well enough to get it done.
Um. Can someone tell me what this is? It showed up in my Facebook feed
Well my first thoughts were definitely not PG.
But, I'm pretty sure I saw an infomercial for a face exerciser like that. Supposed to tighten your facial muscles. Now why you'd need to tighten those muscles...
Guys. My colleagues do not understand how to use headers in Word. I've reviewed 3 documents so far this week from attorneys who did gymnastics with the margins instead of using the header and footer options, so every time I make an edit it screws up multiple pages. Argh.
Pretty sure I have upset the H because I didn't call the doctor earlier today and now if they want to see her, he is going to have to come home. Sorry, but I didn't want to go if it is something that just has to work itself out. She doesn't seem bothered by the swelling, no fever, no drainage. I hate paying the co-pay to be told it is NBD.

This is exactly why I administered Benadryl as soon as I saw it. My H is your H and was all "this needs to be seen, this doesn't look good! Look at him!! " I'm like, dude. The benadryl is clearly controlling it which means it's a reaction to something. The ped will just end up saying the benedryl it working, to monitor it, and if it gets worse then come back.

And guess who says they don't want to see her unless other symptoms begin. So, no reason for his attitude.

What do I win?!
I will admit though, I'm way breezier than H when it comes to illness/issues and bringing the kids to the ped.
We have also dealt with a serious allergic reaction with DS, so as long as his tongue isn't swelling, throat and airways are clear, and he isn't showing immediate signs of discomfort, I let the benadryl do it's job.

Yup, definitely a BJ assisting device. Or if you want to eat hotdogs whole for a competitive eating contest.

I tend to over react with fevers, but that is because DS has a history of ear infections and raging fevers that went along with them. Things like this I try to stay calm and see what happens.
FieryMama she's cute even with a swollen eye. Does it seem to be bothering her?
Nope! She hasn't missed a beat. Daycare said she is at risk for falls so they won't take her. She has fallen once....While sitting backwards in her anywhere chair. Walking and everything has been fine.
Everything is pretty much ready but the flight was delayed by an hour so we'll be driving in rush hour. Luckily I have snacks for w. Now to keep him up so he'll nap in the car.

I had a crazy dream last night that MH was taking Poppy (at the age she currently is) to get a tattoo. I was so upset. Then I woke up irrationally upset with him. No idea what prompted this dream. Zero basis in reality, obviously. The only thing I can think is that he had mentioned that we should try cutting her hair ourselves, and I said that I thought it was a good idea (to save $) but that I was nervous going near her eyes (to cut her bangs) with scissors.

Why is she a fall risk?
J falls all the time. I am amazed at the amount of time I had to ice is head and mouth this weekend. I sign a form at daycare probably 2-3 times per month. Poor kid is a klutz.
They say it is because her vision will be reduced because of the swelling and they wouldn't be allowed to let her play in certain areas. They are afraid her peripheral or depth perception would be off because of it.
Stupid period just showed up several days earlier than usual. I just got a new purse and hadn't stocked it yet so had to bum supplies off a friend. I'm ready for wine.

You're welcome.
It's a device to help me emphasize my surprise face for all the ladies who still give BJs.
