My Monday started off with an alert from our credit card because someone dropped almost $1K at Neiman Marcus on it. The card was shut down automatically by confirming "something doesn't look right" in the alert email, but I have to call them.

Oh no! This is my nightmare. I hope you get it worked out!

Ugh, that's annoying. I'm glad that they caught it and I hope it gets straightened out easily.

I'm glad it was caught early! Hope it's not too much of an inconvenience!
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
I have to meet with a frustrating client later and the computer system I need access to at my contract job is still down...so annoying! I usually work from 6-11 or so on that work...and here it is 8:45 and I still can't get on! Grrrr.

akraus2015, PirateCat, wannabmama - Capital One customer service was fantastic. Card was shut down immediately and a new one will be here by Wednesday. The thief tried to use it at Neiman Marcus and Groupon, but neither charge actually went through because they didn't have the security code off the back of the card.
I know where the number was stolen from too - we tried to get gas Saturday night and the first pump we tried failed. I'm about to call the gas station and tell them to check the machine.
I'm eating 2nd breakfast, Oatmeal w honey and apples. Have a dentist appointment later for a cleaning. We got new kitchen appliances yesterday so yay for that

I'm meeting with our potential pediatrician this morning. It stormed here about 2am so we were up with the freaked out dog for a little while. I slept well while I was sleeping, though!

Oh jeez, glad they caught it quickly!
H thinks I'm super paranoid but I've heard gas station pumps are prone to credit card theft. I always tell him to go inside and pay. 😩 Although ironically after I bought the stuff for our trip I got an email from our credit card company thinking our card had been stolen. 😅
ETA: ironically I see you suspect it's a gas station also. 😬

I always pay at the pump, but whenever possible I try to use a center pump close to the building. Much more likely to have issues with the end pumps closer to the street (which is what MH used).

It's so frustrating that we need to plan out everything because people are so sneaky. 😩
I'm glad your credit card company was on top of things though!

Happy first day of Spring! It was 90 degrees here yesterday and going to be 91 today. I do not like the heat so I'm not looking forward to Spring/Summer. I'm hoping we have a decent Spring though and just don't skip right to summer. I'm actually not too sore this morning which is nice. I had a little trouble moving around yesterday.

I think you may be living in the wrong place......

Interesting. I never thought about this!
I don't remember where I heard it, but it's always stuck in my head. Something about it being easier to get away with further away from the building.
I finally pulled the trigger in ordering the car seat this weekend, which is exciting. We are still trying to figure what we'll do about the stroller but we are getting there slowly. I told H that I don't really see ourselves as stroller people but he said we didn't really see ourselves as baby people either and here we are...

I most definitely am. DH doesn't like it either. If he didn't work for such a good company we'd be looking at moving.
Good morning ladies! I'm off today but my Mom needed me to take her to a doctor's appt(she only drives local) so I did not get to sleep in. By sleep in I mean 7am lol. Gotta love toddlers!
But, we are at a hospital right beside my college so I think we're gonna try to stop in there afterwards so I can get a new shirt. Of course it won't fit me for awhile but that's ok!
I was given the last minute job of center pieces for a friend's baby shower. Amazon prime to the rescue. I have two different ideas, I just don't know if I should order the stuff and figure out which works better once I get it... or just pick one and hope for the best...
My best friend has an 8 month old who is quickly outgrowing her infant car seat. Yesterday they told us they are going to give us the car seat for this LO since they are done having kids! I'm so excited we don't have to buy one now!
