This post nasal drip is awful. I'm hoping this is the last major weather swing but I doubt it. This winter has been awful congestion wise with the constant back and forth of the weather. Poor DS is also miserable

My throat has been slightly sore the past two mornings and I'm pretty sure it's post nasal drip. Sorry you're suffering!

Spring keeps teasing me. Up to 61 today then back down 41 as the high tomorrow. Cmon Mother Nature! Get your act together. I want to go on walks with baby boy!

Same weather here. And it was 82° yesterday. My closet is a hot mess!

We're going to Orlando this weekend to complete our registry one day and go to SeaWorld the other. We're staying the night in a nice hotel, just for a little family getaway. They have a really nice pool so we plan on spending Saturday afternoon there since DD loves to swim. My problem is I don't have a maternity swimsuit and my 33w belly and boobs are not fitting in any that I have. I'm trying to figure out if I should buy a maternity swimsuit just to use for the day, knowing I won't use it again in the next 6 weeks or just forget swimming and let H swim with DD.
juliayadda - Glad vacation was good! Too bad you brought home an unwanted souvenir. Boo to that!
BabyStandish - Every now and then I realize it's been a few days since I took my prenatal. Or Colace. Or both. I now have a clear container of prenatals sitting on my desk so I see it all day long.
My MIL is visiting us next week. I could reschedule my 26 week appt with the another OB for when my MIL is here or I could keep my appt with my OB for a few days after she leaves. If I switch I will not have seen my regular OB for 6 weeks. This is probably the only time she will visit when pregnant. They do an ultrasound at the appt so she could see the babies. Should I just make the switch? I don't really want to, but feel like I should do it for her.
If it's not inconvenient for you to switch and you want your MIL there for the ultrasound, I would call and have them ask your OB if she's fine with you not seeing her for so long. If she's cool with it, go for it.
Also, a lot of practices want you to see all the doctors at the practice at least once because you may not have your OB for delivery
I was going to mention this as well. I didn't see my midwife for the past two appointments. I see her at my next which is 8 weeks after I last saw her. They want you to meet all the other midwives because it's a call system.
sleepymonkey - Do you have workout clothes which fit right now? I would go sports bra with workout shorts and shirt and no one will care. Probably a darker shirt so the bra doesn't show. I agree it seems silly to buy a suit now for one-time use. But you could resell it on one of the FB BST groups. akraus2015 just added me to one which is very active.

@katerli, I'm having a hard time telling from your post if you actually want her to see the ultrasound or if you'd just be rescheduling to be nice to her. So my answer on what I'd do depends on that.

With DS1- there were 3 OBs and 1 MW. I had my primary OB who I saw for most apps, but had two with the MW and one with one of the other OBs. The one I didn't see was the one that was on call when I showed up in labor. My OB showed up 2ish hours later when he became the on-call OB (it was also a work day so he had a policy that he would be there for them if he was working) and was the one who was there the rest of the time
This time, I see a group of 4 MWs and have no idea who will be there at delivery. They have two hospitals they cover- one is on call for each hospital while the other two cover the two office locations. We have to see them all at least one, preferably 2-3 times

marshian , I hadn't thought about that. I still have one sports bra that fits and I could probably fit in to a pair of swimsuit bottoms that I could just wear under the belly. Throw a t-shirt on top and be done. If anyone wants to critique the hugely pregnant lady at the pool with her 3 year old, bring it on.

I was going to suggest checking consignment stores (they have a bunch at the one I go to) but this seems like a perfectly reasonable solution and even cheaper.

I wouldn't bother switching. You don't want to, and I'm sure MIL will live without being at an u/s.
I never even considered inviting parents or ILs to an u/s so I don't feel like you should go out of your way to do so.
