How are you feeling danib? Any sleep last night? I hope so.
I let him sleep on my chest all night and got 2-2.5 hour blocks. Not ideal of course (I'll worry about getting him back in bed after the sickness passes) but it's the best we've had all week.
I hope for an easy transition when you're both feeling better. But sleep trumps all IMO and you got to do what you got to do. And right now taking care of two babes while being sick, you're doing stuff I would have though impossible back before I had a baby.
I just ate overnight oats. Not terrible, but also not life changing. I had to heat them up in the microwave because I realized I do not like cold breakfast.
I heat mine warmed up too. It tastes like normal oatmeal then. My H eats his cold with yogurt and I just handle that early in the morning. The texture maybe? Ugh. Idk. Hork.

Morning ladies. Just hanging out with C right literally watching him try to poop lol. I'm glad he's doing it now because we have to leave for a Bubble Club class in an hour. The timing of the class is not great though and I'm sure he'll start crying for his bottle in the middle of class like last time. I just hope he's in a better mood today.
After class I'm picking up my new phone from Best buy then my day will be filled with setting up the new phone during C's naps and playtime.
No one is tramping through my house today so that's good!
My mom is going to come over and watch the kids so I can hit the grocery store. We have eaten so much take-out and restaurant food lately, I'm craving home cooking.
We attempted cereal with C this morning and she was not impressed. Of course, it would probably help if I was using an actual baby spoon and not one of B's toddler sized ones! Need to locate those, I've put them somewhere and now can't remember where.
Here's Caroline modeling her new Easter bonnet, and then yesterday at my parents'. She has enough hair to use a clip-in bow now:)
goldenlove3 we are also on poop-watch this morning. It has been a few days 😳I even put her in a sleeper last night that has been the scene of several epic blowouts, hoping it would work its magic, but no luck so far.
danib I'm not caught up on all the threads but sounds like y'all may be dealing with the plague in some way, shape or form? If so, I'm sorry and hope it clears out soon!
vinolove I like the stripes + floral. She's stylin'!

Here's my happy little walrus!
And both my boys. The big kid hates getting his hair cut, like, HATES. But his hair was in his eyes so MH decided to do a sneak attack while DS1 was brushing his teeth. It uh... looks like something DS1 did himself.
I just ate overnight oats. Not terrible, but also not life changing. I had to heat them up in the microwave because I realized I do not like cold breakfast.
Did you use that blueberry recipe with the chia seeds? Because the chia in overnight oats makes it unpalatable for me. Too slimy by far.
LizInFL major hair envy with C! D has no idea what I have in store for her once her hair gets long enough for clips. jubilantsquirrel ahhh that walrus thing is too cute!! Is it a hoodie? Or a towel? danib glad last night was slightly better and I hope you'll be rewarded with much more once the sickness is past.

Having a quiet day after two fun filled ones. Lilah had a little fever and some swelling/redness where she got her shots yesterday. She's being a tad more fussy than usual, but I can understand that if she's a bit uncomfortable. Lillian is oscillating between being cute and helpful and being annoying/destructive. I can't blame her either, though. The days I need to work on the house and give her sister more attention are harder days for her.
We're going to have lunch soon and I'm hoping Lilah take another nap. Her first one lasted less than an hour. Then we're going to Target. We need a few things and I think getting out of the house today will be a must. If I time it right, maybe I'll have the mythical synced naps this afternoon.
Omg, wills scare me. Mostly the choosing guardians part. Do you people tell who you've chosen to be guardian or would it be a surprise? We really should make one though.
Awesome pics all around ladies!! LizInFL LOVE that little clip!!
I had yoga this morning and then did some Carters shopping. I may have caved and bought a full price summer outfit for E bc it's the cutest thing ive ever seen.
Ok, suddenly I can't use Imgur. What photo apps or websites do you use?
These babies are getting so big! I was starving at 10am this morning and stupidly ate my lunch at 10:30. Thankfully I have a drawer full of treats and my Amazon Surprise Sweets box came yesterday so I can ruin my diet with that!
Not sure if I shared these yet, but we had a Jamba Juice family date! You can see L's enthusiasm.
Did you use that blueberry recipe with the chia seeds? Because the chia in overnight oats makes it unpalatable for me. Too slimy by far.
No. I made the one you shared. It had a 1/2 banana, oats, almost empty jar of peanut butter (I used almond) and chocolate almond milk (I used regular unsweetened).
tjanca22 so cute! In the first two pictures I really thought L had crazy spiky hair and then realized it was the head rest part of the car seat!
Haha! I went back and looked and it really does look like she has crazy hair! That head rest is great, but it's so so annoying because it slips down every time I put her in or take her out of there. I think more people comment on the seat than the baby when we're out!

I feel like I'm doing 100 things at once. Trying to wash 9 months clothes (which I'm in disbelief about but just doing it), trying to set up my new cell phone, trying to get my old phone to stay on for more than 2 seconds so I can back up one more thing (there's a trick that putting it in the freezer will let it turn on for a few minutes), relaying messages for H since he left his personal phone here for me to use, cleaning up the house AND trying to entertain C. I hope this kid naps soon so I can get a break.
ClassyMrsA, I have to ask. When you go out and run errands, what do you do with your kids? Is big L sitting in the cart and little L in the actual cart in her car seat? Do you baby wear? I always avoid going out because I'm not sure what to do with my two kids. Haha.
I'm the same as danib. I wear Lilah and Lillian goes in the cart or umbrella stroller if I don't need a cart. I always put Lilah on first, then get Lillian. When we get back to the car Lillian goes in the car, I put Lilah into her seat, and then put Lillian into her seat (she's loose in the car while I put Lilah in). At first it was a bit awkward, but after 4 months it's relatively easy. I say relatively because what is easy with babies and toddlers?
Yes starbuck27. That's something I was thinking about too. I imagined setting aside a set amount for college funds but the rest to go towards the guardians however they wanted to use it. A bigger house, a bigger car, paying off debt or loans, or everyday clothes and food for my kids and their kids.
I think for now our guardians would be my parents because they would drop everything to make it work Andy kids are closest with them but they are also getting older. Either of my sisters would be amazing but they each have 3 kids already so it's a lot to ask. But when/if my parents couldn't provide anymore, it would have to be one of them anyway.
I guess we could start by talking with my parents.
Our babies are so damn cute!!! The rolls, the hair, the smiles, the eyes (lookin' at you C goldenlove3 )
We have yet to agree on who would be guardians for A and A. My sister seems like the best choice but already has two toddlers. My brother and his wife would be another good option because our values and personalities are so alike but they never want kids (supposedly, but coincidentally they are REALLY good with kids). Our friends dealing with IF would prob be the 3rd best and even though H agrees he can't get over the idea it should be someone in our families. Plus not sure how I'd ask them given what they're going through.
Adelines terrible sleep ways were back last night. Worse than ever. I actually cried all morning because I'm at a loss of what to do. I put her down at 7. She rustled until I finally went up at 9:45p (skipping out on work I had to do before this morning)... She woke up at 10:30 and never really went back to sleep until 4am in my arms. Why?!?! I don't get it. She's not comfortable or happy no matter where she's laying. Not crying usually, but tossing and turning and rolling side to side to side, arms and legs flailing, looking for a paci, eyes wide open, then shut, then open..

H and I still need to create a will. He wants to buy that Suzie Orman briefcase thing but is annoyed with having to have two notaries sign it or something like that. We've talked before about having my parents be the guardians but I guess I'd have to confirm with H again. I know I wouldn't even have to ask them.
Oh my goodness goldenlove3 that last one is ridiculously cute. Love his expression!
Re: our will, we selected my sister as our children's guardians, and my parents as back-ups (we will revisit that as my parents get older if their health should decline or anything). They're aware of what the deal is but we have never brought it up with my husband's parents or sister. So yes, it would be a surprise to them, but not shocking IMO.
starbuck27 yes, we did everything with an attorney. With my husband's line of work, we have always had to make provisions in case anything happened, but once B came along we took out additional insurance, set up a trust, etc.
Well, poopwatch 2017 ended with a poo-volcano--a new outfit will do it every time. It happened on my lap so that was fun. Shortly after I got us all cleaned up, I got spit up on.
And now we're at the park and a bird pooped on my lap. WTF.
Im hoping my H will take the kids for a bit this evening once he's home do I can get away from all bodily fluids for a bit.

We don't have a will yet. We should probably get on that. I don't have any siblings and MH would never ever want his brother and his wife to be the guardian for our kids. That pretty much only leaves our parents and I don't know who I would pick, honestly. I wish we had other family, or friends that we were really close with that we could pick instead.
