I worked from bed for a while because the thought of standing up was too painful. Yesterday I took a lovely hot shower and aimed the shower head at my lower back. It felt so good that it sounded like I was using the shower head for other things.
I've also realized I need more veggies in my diet. I default to easy things like peanut butter crackers or string cheese. Anyone have suggestions for easy ways to incorporate veggies? I put spinach in smoothies when I can make myself eat them, and I get veggies/hummus when I think of it. Anything else?
icedtea I like to roast up a bunch of veggies on Sunday and then we just heat them up all week for dinners. My fav is roasted carrots or brussel sprouts but you can do all sorts of things.
icedtea I splurge on precut veggies and keep in fridge, makes it easy to grab some here and there. I make yogurt based dips on the weekend sometimes, which helps. I also buy a bunch of frozen veggie steamers and other types and when I WFH I have them for lunch (some are mixed with rice or potatoes which makes them heartier).
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
icedtea - Put veggies in pasta. It's like hiding them in plain sight. Do you like salad? You can add a ton to that (though I prefer mostly just lettuce, so I'm not one to talk).

Good morning! My co-workers threw me a little surprise shower this morning. It was so sweet. And there was a yummy breakfast casserole, fruit, and cake so it was awesome. Since it's my second, I wasn't having a friend and family shower so it was nice that my co-workers thought of me.
My Thai food last night was delicious and exactly what I needed for birthday dinner. H got me some bath stuff and a teak shower stool, which was perfect. I sat while I showered this morning and it was heavenly.
I'm not sure if I woke up in time to eat breakfast before my appointment. I really need to put my thyroid medicine in the bathroom and take it during my many pee breaks at night because waiting around in the morning to eat just plain stinks.

I'm grumpy. My rotten cat just woke me up ridiculously early when I was actually sleeping well. And I kinda have a stomach ache. So far not impressed with this Thursday.

So MH almost burned our house down last night. He sets up his coffee maker on the stove before bed, and accidentally turned the burner on.
We woke up a few hours later to all of the smoke detectors going off and about to flee the house. Luckily nothing melted, but the house sticks of burned coffee and smoke.

Yikes!! Glad there was nothing damaged more permanently.

Glad you're all ok incl the house!
During my pregnancy my belly would turn the burner on when I'd reach over to use the microwave. Never ignite but the gas would be on. After the 2nd time it happened I learned to always check the stove whenever I was near it.

I'm over her laffin' that some posters on parenting who used to be on GKU thought dropping a pregnancy announcement in a randoms thread was the norm. Because newbs couldn't make a thread.
Everyone knows they belong in the TWW threads!!!eleventy!!*
*I never got crazy about that sort of thing, but even I know that it would never go well.

Hi friends! I'm catching up on work today that I should have done yesterday...boo procrastination.
Getting mani/pedis with 4 of my girlfriends tonight and I am SO. EXCITED. They're friends from undergrad who I don't see much anymore, especially for casual things like this, so I'm pretty excited that 4 of the 7 of us were able to get together.
Oliver must be craving orange colored things. Yesterday I binged on goldfish and carrots, and today it's goldfish and mac and cheese.
