@justinslovo DH hates the idea of the snot sucker, I am just waiting for the day that the bulb doesn't cut it and then we'll end up getting one. I don't care what I gotta do as long as it works to get rid of congestion.
This breastfeeding thing is hard!!!! I have a hard time not knowing exactly what she is getting for sustenance. And she's had a bit of weight loss so now I'm super paranoid. I think my milk is coming in now so we're over the hump, but this being a mom thing is no joke!

Up nursing after a 3 hour stretch, holy night sweats is right! Waiting for Tilly to finish the second boob then changing her diaper since I'm hoping she'll go another good stretch. DH is home so he's in charge of the toddler when he wakes up 😆

In true baby fashion, as soon as I get the ok to not wake dd up to eat she sleeps in 3 hour stretches. Not that that's something to complain about but she's been doing 4 pretty regularly.
Her and I are making our first target trip today while the cleaning lady is here.
I'm up feeding the baby. He's an awesome nighttime sleeper, which I love and am grateful for, but he's usually up and hungry by 5 or 6. By the time I'm done feeding, changing, burping, etc. It's 7 or later. Once I'm back at work, it'll make morning routine easy, but right now, I'm like @amc25 ...get up or more sleep? Right now I feel like more sleep wins.
Today is the first day in over a week (and only the second or third day total since we came home from the hospital 2 weeks ago) that we don't have people visiting or a doctor's appointment. I've appreciated all the company and help, and our families are awesome, but dear God I needed a day without visitors. I feel like our routine/schedule is a hot mess because everyday people were coming by and at different times. (And it takes me so long to feed him that I get anxious when feeding him and people are here because it takes so long. Since we're still working on nursing, I go into a different room, close the door, and take everything of waist up. So then I'm sitting in there alone with baby gor an hour while we have company.) I'm so ready for a day off just me, DH and C.
I'm still pregnant. Feel like I need to poop and can't. I am over this week. Clara also woke up at 5:40 and wanted a mommy hug. When daddy went in it was the end of the world. She cried he left swearing and I wanted more sleep. Oh well. Maybe lots of coffee today!
meggypoo1 , I'm in the still pregnant club with you! Fearsy let us know how you're doing - didn't you have a doc appointment today? ETA: I see it's not til Tuesday. Hope you spontaneously go into labor before then!!!
jnow you're still baking too, right? ETA: Yes, if you're being punched in the vag. Can't explain my brain this morning.
