@kc295905, they are doing alright! They still have low grade fevers (100.3), but I think we are all just fighting the same head cold. They are stuffy and coughing a lot. I didn't wake them to give them Tylenol all night (I had no idea if I was supposed to, so I just let them sleep). They ate full bottles this morning and are napping right now. Since the fever hasn't increased, I don't think we are going to the doctor. From my furious reading about fevers last night, 100.3 isn't considered that high it seems.
Going to a happy hour tonight after work for one of my friends/co-workers who is transferring to another office after next week. I'm already tired though. Amelia was awake at 3am to eat, went back to sleep at four and my alarm goes off at 5 am.
requiressnacks, sleep is the best thing for the babies and you're right 100.3 isn't considered high. Unless baby is fussy or can't sleep well, I prefer not to give Tylenol until 101. Although I did learn from my other bmb that it isn't a good idea to give partial doses. Hope your babies continue to improve!

oh man, that's rough. Maybe an afternoon coffee or coke can help you muster through it.
I tried to wfh today but I have a mtg I should be here for. And it's at the end of the day practically. Oh, I can smell someones delicious hazel nut coffee. I am chugging gatorade hoping it helps my milk supply. Last night I had to give Alex milk from the freezer stash.
I've been up since 4am. I'm joining requiressnacks in the sick kids club. DS cold has settled in his chest. I heard him coughing at 4am, went into the nursery and found DD playing away by herself. Of course as I'm taking care of both kids DH walks into the room as "you have everything under control" and goes back to bed. Gee, thanks. The only thing getting me through is knowing I have a TCF get together tomorrow with some local people.

Solidarity on seeing 4 am this morning. Nothing good happens at 4 am and mama needs her sleep!

This pic from last week gave me a good chuckle. It's like he's saying "wtf am I wearing". This is after his poopsplosion last weekend and I had to improvise.

I kept Jane home with me today and let DH take the truck to work so we're stranded. I couldn't be happier. Yesterday I decided to not procrastinate on anything at work and I finished everything I could possible do so I'm just waiting for clients to get their stuff back to me. I'm getting into the routine a little better now and feel more confident that I'm doing my job again...just in time to be laid off (possibly). On my work at home days I apply to anything that comes up that I'm interested in just in case.
The girl at daycare yesterday pissed me off when I was picking up Jane. She was holding another child and gave him to someone else as she said "I'll get Jane out of the crib for you" I told her I would do it, but she went and did it anyways and said "I love it when they are sleeping and stretch when you pick them up" I'm thinking me too lady, and I've missed her all day so do what I ask and back off! I didn't say anything, just took Jane and decided that it's Mommy daughter weekend early. :-) No daycare today
oh and I found out the hard way that the Daycare FSA only pays out as you put money in so I can't be reimbursed for the whole month of March because I haven't put enough money in the FSA yet. My bad I really should have known that working in HR and all. So it'll just reimburse us as much as I pay in every month now. Still worth it I think. Just have to rework our plan.
The baby was fantastic yesterday with family again. I'm so glad we got to come see my grandma. She had a rotten night with gas though. If we'd been at home I would have let her scream and kick to get the gas out but since we were at the hotel I just let her sleep on me all night so I'm exhausted.
Now we're at the airport and she peed when I had her diaper off and it went all over because of my stupid cheap changing pad I had to get after the poop blowout so we weren't even through security and she was in her emergency outfit and screaming. I'm so ready to be home so I can pass her off to DH.
lol, I have these. I got most of the toys from my sister as hand-me-downs and when I saw all these in the box I thought they were an abundance of rings used for the playmat...to hang the toys off of. And threw most away. Ooops.

Ha! They can totally be used for that or on their own. We have some on the playmat, sit me up seat, car seat, etc. They help her reach stuff that's too high or far away right now.

God, work is making me actually work today. Too much stress. AND the bathrooms are out of order on this floor and the one right above. I'm lucky my stomach hasn't rebelled yet.
